You forget that One and the can use "any" word he chooses to describe “anything” he wants. To him dictionaries and their definitions are meaningless.

Most of the spankings the righties on topix get are because they don’t understand the English language.

Ask one what a "rhetorical question" is and watch him squirm.

And then when spanked they revert to spam like "thanks for keeping this thread on top" or they threaten who -ever spanked them.

Good job pointing it out again and “keeping this thread on top“.

Memory problems? You have been told several times, but here you are again asking the same stupid question!
One more time...
==========
“No one is allowed to be armed. We’re going to take all the guns.” Remember that? That was former New Orleans Police Superintendent P. Edwin Compass III, commenting on the mass confiscation of legally-owned guns that occurred just after Katrina cleared out of New Orleans.

ONLY "posting on this site"??????

Or would your question include other American Citizens in other areas?????

Do you mean that if we stick our heads in the ground that the problem will just go away????

Your question seems disingenuous at best.

The question is NOT if this has happened in Chico yet but WHEN might it happen here and in other areas given similar circumstances. Stay on track or be accused of dishonesty.

Just because they can't manage their spending of our money, does not mean that they are ineffective at taking it!

They destroy peoples lives daily stealing their money & properties!
IRS is one of the biggest criminal agencies ever created and then there is the DMV!

Right...what a silly bunch of loons??????

Kind of like the same loons when the question concerned banning of alcohol???? I agree....totally inneffective....but it sure tore ragged holes in our society that have yet to be fully closed today.

You're proposing a rerun??????(Albert Einstein's definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing, the same way, over and over again and expecting the results to be different each time). You CAN'T be THAT stupid.

I'll admit the argument might be concieved by some (with a certain bias) as also working for legalizing drugs.

I've read some (more advanced) countries have had some success with treating drug addiction as a disease instead of a crime.

Can you offer more or are you just an argumentative asshole like many on this forum? I'm into discussion, even heated discussion, but when it degenerates into name calling I must admit I lost interest around grade 3.

As far as guns being used by criminals I'd say tie state reporting of dangerous mental patients to federal funding for roads, etc. in each state and not accept giving guns to nut cases.

The stupid stupid government of virginia didn't do this federally mandated requirement which allowed the killings at virginia state. Why are we supposed to pass MORE gun laws when they don't even enforce the ones we have now? Gun owners ARE GETTING TIRED OF THIS.

I’ve always been into the honest transfer of information through debate. And I too find it disingenuous when people who are proven wrong become foul –mouthed trolls. My first few years on the net I practiced what I preached until it became obvious that there are certain persons who take it personally when they’re proven wrong or to be outright liars and who then become stalkers. Sure, a person should ignore the liars, bullies and morons who have comprehension problems but that means one eventually is forced off the net.

Yes, I’ve stood up to the bullies in my life and gotten punched in the nose a few times for standing up for what’s right, and I’ve won numerous bouts also. And I’m not about to let someone on the net argue comment, opinion and editorial over scientific fact.

And can you imagine a troll on the net demanding proof for common knowledge facts?

Gun control, it needs to be done on a national level with states having the ability to enhance regulations. As we’ve seen with background checks, it doesn’t do any good if say California requires them if bubba can drive to Reno and not be checked.

I'm a hunter and am in favor of the ban on lead bullets.

It may seem many on the internet are posting drunk (and it may be true) but there are many others who feel as you do. Just keep posting when you can and you'll find they want to discuss rather than cuss.

I don't believe there should be a "fits all" gun law. Each state has their own circumstances and history which should be honored.

People trapped in their urban ghetto homes need guns for protection when danger threatens (and the police can't [ever] be there). I believe this is why the african-american community doesn't support Obama on this issue.

People in very rural areas have sold and traded guns with their neighbors and family members for 200+ years and don't want their rights abridged because of drive-by shootings in Chicago. This is also a continuing "States Rights" Constitutional issue.

Continued lies by politicians concerning the level of "gun control" (gun confiscation for most of the Brady group) they would like to impose makes gun owners, and yes: the NRA, more than wary about the durability of our Constitutional Rights, as we've watched recent successful confiscations in other countries.

Unfortunatly police and politicians have shown themselves to be untrustworthy when the pressure is on. Confiscation of legally owned guns and the killing of civilians by police during Katrina bears this out. If you have 100% confidence in our politicians total honesty and high intelligence and moral character then I'd imagine you'd have no problem with their disclosed (and undisclosed) plans. I and many others feel a lack of the essential elements in our police and politicians means we cherish and defend our Constitutional Rights more than ever.

I also feel Obama should be indicted by an international court for killing civilian families by drone.

As long as there are states where gang -bangers can buy guns and then drive across state lines where it's illegal for them to own those guns it'll happen.

Ever hear the saying "a chain is only as strong as its weakest link"?
