Seems they are doing something right in redding

Maybe we could hire their chief or look at what they are doing?

Maybe not only look at their pd but city finances why aren't they having bankruptcy concerns?

Maybe look at salary/ pension structures??

Maybe you can do more with less, you just have to find the right people?

Let's see now. Since repubicans say everything happening under the Obama administration is his fault, is Reddings dip in crime due to Obama?

There you go again, everything has to be a dem vs repub.

How about recognizing they are doing a good job there with local resources and it has nothing to do with national politics?

I know you want everything to be nice and tidy us vs them, but the landscape has changed.

People are more interested in solving problems locally that directly affect their lives, not endlessly arguing ideology.

Do you remember the saying "no one is ever wrong in religion and politics"?

Please know that...

Nothing ever happens in a vacuum other than what transpires in the arid regions between the ears of conservative heads...

Good post. Most government entities are struggling in this lousy obama economy. The few inovative hard working local leaders who have made things work out in spite of obama should be commended.
Good job.
Jeez, just look at what the liberals have done to Detroit. A book should be written about the fall of Detroit.....lol......especiall y after candidate obama said he said saved detroit.....lmao.
The book should be titled...."How many ways can liberals screw up a City".

Considering the sorry state in which your hero bush.w left the nation in, a better title for a best seller would be ...

"How many ways can conservatives screw up America" ?

So repubicans can badmouth liberals butt it's wrong for liberals to respond? There are a lot of cities that are recovering. Hell, look at the mess Brown inherited and look at the job he's done. Most of the problems in this country were the result of repubican politicians.

lol
Calif. has one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation, and one of the highest poverty rates in the nation. There are more folks in Calif. on food stamps than in any other state except New York.
Great job liberals....
The great state of Ca. has shown her resilience time after time, but decades of liberal ideology and democrat control are keeping her down.

ca. used to be the fifth largest economy in the world....now we are down to 9th.

Percentage wise, Caulifornia doesn't have the most people on food stamps, it's Mississippi. And Caulifornia is moving into the eighth spot in the worlds economy.
