Not the people that are being polled.
Fact checkers determine accuracy. Facts are not liberal or conservative, and they are not a matter of opinion. Something is either factually true or not.
In the case of Fox it is very popular and at the same time very often factually false in its reporting.
Like the story Friday when a fox news reporter said that Germany's solar industry is successful because they are more sunny than the U.S.
The fact is Germany is less sunny than every single U.S. state including ALaska, our least sunny state.
That is one example among many of Fox is not credible in spite of their viewers opinion of them.
You're arguing with a moron who agreed with faux and their polls that all said mutt rummy was going to win by a landside.

Total nonsense talk, unintelligible language.
Unintelligible communication using various noises and illegitimate words, nonsense or sounds.
Sentence, phrase or general communication not making sense, induced by several days of smoking crack or other substance.

Wow, it is truly amazing that I have to keep explaining this simple logical concept to you.

The types of polls you are talking about can measure whether or not people THINK they are accurate whether they actually are.

The only types of polls that measure FOX's actual accuracy are the ones that ask questions about real world events, like "did we find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq", or "was Obama born in the United States", and those polls show that people who watch Fox news are way more likely to get such simple factual questions wrong than people who watch other networks.

How accurate was Fox about the outcome of the latest election?

Why were Fox viewers like you surprised when Obama won, no one else was?

And was Fox accurate last friday when one of their news people said solar works better in Germany because they get more sun?

Correct.........

The morons claim that a poll showing that Fox news is the most credible news source is not valid as it is only a poll..........

Buy=t yet they are so stupid that they started this thread based on a poll..........

You don't understand simple logic do you.

If a high percentage of TV viewers think fox is credible that is a fact about their opinions not a fact about Fox's credibility.

If a high percentage of Fox viewers are factually wrong about real things like whether or not we found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or whether or not Obama was born in the US, that is a fact about Fox's credibility not an opinion.

If you can't understand such simple logic you are a lost cause.

Of course the righties in these blogs will simply say-- "Hey, the left-wing is also authoritarian". Sure, there are some left-wing authoritarians, but studies have not found a left-wing equivalence to the strong right-wing authoritarianism.
From the source above:
"There have been a number of other attempts to identify "left-wing authoritarians" in the United States and Canada. These would be people who submit to leftist authorities, are highly conventional to liberal viewpoints, and are aggressive to people who oppose left-wing ideology.
These attempts have failed because measures of authoritarianism always correlate at least slightly with the right. There are certainly extremists across the political spectrum, but most psychologists now believe that authoritarianism is a predominantly right-wing phenomenon."

Au contraire dummy.

Nearly 60 million voters(nearly 50%) were disappointed with the presidential election results.

You are insulting nearly half of America, just like....well just like the pres. does nearly every day.

The election is the biggest "poll" America has.
By the numbers(popular vote), your guy won by a very slim margin.
The Country is very much divided.
This division is a function of weak leadership.
and oh ya, congrats for the LAST time on squeaking by in the election.

and now, we will see if the pres. really has our Country's best interests at heart. Will he unify America?

Lol....not likely.

You have low comprehension levels don't you.

I was talking about Fox viewers being SURPRISED by the results, NOT "DISAPPOINTED". See if you can pay attention.

The point being that they were surprised because fox and its pundits were talking up a Romney victory right up until the end in spite of all the evidence to the contrary. In other words they were surprised because Fox is not a credible news source.

Seriously, see if you can pay attention.

Oh, did I embarass you? Are you sorry for insulting nearly half of America?

When the numbers(statistics) don't fit your agenda, you start whining?
What else is new?
Obama (the liberals) won the election....that is a fact....but it is also a fact that nearly half of America disagreed with the outcome.
Deal with it.
