If it was an early morning crash, how come the article said the time of the accident was 2:18PM? If the driver, Amanda Marquez, received major internal injuries and was taken to Enloe, why was she discharged this morning? Her sister, Jacqueline, received major internal injuries and was flown to Enloe, and is still there. Why not say that they both received major internal injuries, one was released and one is still in the hospital? What is is the truth? The article is unclear and surely could have been written better for readers to understand just what happened to whom and *when*. Doesn't anyone ever proofread articles anymore?

How much is it going to cost the taxpayers?
Maybe we should let a few million more of these criminals into the country.

I agree this article is very confusing. But knowting one of the girls personally I can tell you that they're not even Mexican, don't speak spanish so don't know what Dwayne fellow is taling about. You should be well informed before making assumptions. And Second the first girl-Amanda received serious internal injuries was flown to hospital because of it. Remains in Critical condition. The second girl is also still in hospital with less serious injuries. Get your facts straight PPL!!!

the newspaper has this story all wrong!!! Amanda was flown into a hospital north of the accident. She is still in the hospital, tthree weeks later. She is recovering nicely, and will be home soon. If the reporters actually did there job, they would know what really happened! As i am her step father, i know the facts. I guess this paper is just another rag.

Well, it's not going to cost you a dime... She is a from a very legal family. She is not a criminal. She was not dui, she fell asleep @ the wheel. They are not sisters.
Amanda did not go to enloe. The reporter did not do any kind of investigation at all... So where do you get off stereotyping people when it is obvious you have no clue...
