i have heard from a witness on the scene that the woman that hit matt was heard to say "why bother, look at him, it's a waste of time" to the man performing cpr on him.
WE NEVER KNOW WHAT WE MIGHT SAY WHEN WE GO INTO SHOCK.UNLESS YOU ARE IN THAT SITUATION YOU CAN'T JUDGE

I have also wondered if she knows someone. Can anyone find out? I heard early on that she was married to an APD officer, but haven't been able to verify that.
WHY ARE YOU WORRIED WHO OR WHAT SHE IS? ACCIDENTS HAPPEN AND WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE.IF A GRAND JURY FINDS FAULT SHE WILL PAY

wow. annnie from dallas sounds really angry. and writing in all caps makes it seem like she is yelling.

granted none of us know what we would do in a crisis situation, but i know i would not have made the alleged comment about cpr being a waste of time.

and i think that more than one person wondered if special treatment was given to the driver of the truck.

Does anyone know about an accident that occurred yesterday, March 2nd on Williams Dr at the entrance to Sun City? It was a motorcycle accident...extremely bad.

I know nobody has been on this blog for a while, but I knew Matt personally and he was a great guy. I still think about him to this guy. He had a great personality and like someone else said, would give the shirt off his back for anyone he met. Please pray for his family still.

James it is obvious Annie has no personal relation to Matt and really has no right posting on this blog. I think she is just needing a reason to complain about something. She obviously needs god in her life. Pray for her and let it go. It is sad when people go through life feeling no sympathy for the ones around them.

I haven't been on in a while. I knew that there was an accident near Sun City but don't know any details. Does anyone?? We sound like a group that should start putting the bumper stickers that say "Save a life. Look twice" on our cars. There has got to be more education about sharing the road with motorcycles.
BTW - rumor has it that the driver of the truck the hit Matt didn't get a ticket.

hello vindictive biker:
While I share you sentiments totally, I would rather think that she will have many years of personal hell related to this accident.

You are right, she did not get a ticket. is there some lack of justice here? is it the fact that she worked for the city? "I would rather think that she will have many years of personal hell related to this accident" Thinking does not do it for me. KILL A BIKER - GO TO JAIL! Yes there should be some education on motorcycle safety for people that drive cars.

When are Texans finally learning to use their indicators? Drivers in most other states are much better doing so. Sad that this careless driving without using signals took another life. But I guess we in Texas never learn...

I'm not either. does anyone have any idea what her insurance rates would have gone up to? huge i would imagine. not that that's any help, but i do find some small comfort in knowing that this will dog her financially forever. i also hope that not a day goes by that she doesn't think about it.
