I personally believe if the rifle was not aimed at the officer(s), then no shooting should of occured. Also believe that the officer should not be on paid leave.

if the rifle wasnt aimed at the officer why did he shoot? I can understand fearing for ones life but unless it was shouldered and aimed then this was a bad shoot that could have been handled differently

If you aint going to cut down, dont aim it. If I brought mine to bear, it talks. Its like this man, if you aim it, Im gonna kill you. Sad but some commit suicide by police. Most people know they will shoot if aimed at. If he was serious he would have hid and shot while they were in Dans eating and drinking as they often do, just a theory but thats what I would do if I wanted to exterminate someone, I dont but, if I did thats what I would do, just common sense. HE HAD A RIFLE WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A RIFLE? Man its easy to coach from the couch. Have you ever seen what a rifle can do to the human body. I bet you would have wet your pants if you were the guy that ran into this moron right before he aimed that is.

The man with the rifle is DEAD because he refused to comply with a Police Officer's order to DROP the rifle. Now do you GET IT? They call it "Comply or Die"!
