I understand that the pilot's wife has been told that the cause of the accident was wind shear. This is NOT correct. The airplane's engine was not running at the time of the crash. Wind shear does not stop an engine. If anyone knows the pilot's family, they need to be told to check into this. They will find that fuel contamination was the cause. DO NOT hire someone from El Dorado to investigate this. The "powers" will not allow the truth to come out.

This is true and should be looked into. I'm afraid that since the plane was classified as an experimental that the FAA, ntsb, etc will not look as hard into It as they would if It was a production aircraft. If you know this family, tell them please. There is weather data at the time of the crash that is on the preliminary report, does it look like wind shear to any of you?.
