If you look at the Options in the Georgetown ISD website, you will see what your taxes paid for! The district hired a demographer to create boundaries with even numbers of student populations and to evenly distribute the socio-economic student population. Well, it is obvious this wasn't done. If you scroll to the very bottom of the website, on all options...Eastview has anywhere from 41-49% low socioeconomic populations to the 20s% at GHS. The district is asking for problems at Eastview high school. It is a fact, not an opinion. Shame on you GISD central office and school board members. Do the right thing....let both high schools have even student populations. I pay taxes here, live here and shop here. I expect these people to do the right thing...my taxes pay for FAIR decisions, not politically correct ones!
