Can you say conflict of interest? An employee of the company negotiating the purchase of the hospital is now running the hospital and has access to any and all information. Not only is Southwest getting a consulting fee, but now the hospital is paying Ms. Phillips CEO wages as well.
This is the result of an ineffective, no decision-making board. But the good news is that once the hospital is sold, the board will no longer exist....but the bad news is that Southwest will most likely close the hospital eventually anyways.

Just wait till the employees get a load of Joan Phillips. Ask the Skagg Hospital folks in Branson, especially those who worked with her on a regular basis how it is!! Good Luck. LOL
