Im sorry, could someone tell me what the ramifications wuld b if one of the employees at the gym was dating a married toyota employee wuld be? Hypothetical question or not, if this is going on, could the gym employee receive disciplinary action and could anything happen to the team member involved? Its funny how people turn their heads sumtimes so they dont have to address these situations...

Alright now, we need first names, or at least initials and physical descriptions of the "hypothetical" employees.

Don't get revenge, get YOUR life in order! Seriously if your husband/wife is cheating then get a divorce. If your not directly involved then stop being a busy body and get over yourself!
Sounds like a hottie is doing someone that is not YOU and your jealous. Pathetic!

Yes, the ramifications would be two happy ppl, one pissed spouse, & several ugly jealous coworkers- who can't wait to cause trouble.

Legally all that can happen is someone tells the spouse, said spouse will take TM 2 bank & back in divorce court...unless it can be proven that both spouses were cheating.

Hey that's not right! It's nobodies business if 2 people are hanging out or whatever. If u are not the one married to them then none of ur biz what they are doing. I don't see how they can get in trouble from Toyota anyway. Geez..millions of people date someone they work with. It's none of toyotas biz either as long as the employees do their job, that's all Toyota is paying them for. Personal lives can't be interfered with by ur employer like that

According to the team member handbook, team members are representatives of Toyota at all times and should act in a manner that reflect Toyota's values (personal, occupational, humanitarian, and family values). If HR is given proof of an extra-marital affair, the team member can be disciplined or fired. If a team member gets into a fight off of Toyota property, off the clock, and not at a Toyota function, and it is reported and proven, that team member can be fired.

Proof is the key. A couple of years ago, a toyota worker was fired because he left a message on a another worker's cell phone. The two had been friends and the one had let the other borrow some money and he hadn't paid it back. He left a message along the lines of if you don't pay me my money, I'll take it out of your A**. The borrower took it to HR. HR deemed that it created a hostile work environment and fired the full-time employee. They also consider extra-marital affairs as causing hostile work environments because of an incident involving an estranged spouse bringing a gun to Toyota with the intent to end the cheaters' lives.

Hmmm. I think HR ought to audit themselves before they decide to become the moral compass for the entire company. Yes, that is in the handbook. Two employees a few years ago got into a fist fight at Lowe's and both were fired -- off site, after hours but in their team uniforms. However, extra-marital affairs are hard to prove without some sort of concrete evidence (i.e., video) and, from personal experience, their "zero tolerance" for sexual harrassment is not really zero. It's zero-ish and don't worry honey, we'll make sure we move him. If it bothers you don't look. If you're jealous, get over it. If it's YOUR significant other, get a lawyer.

That's BS!!! I've been there 25 yrs and seen 100's of affairs and not a single one has ever been fired. It's only an issue if one party claims they are being harassed by the other

Why cause trouble for someone else, if you are certain these people sneaking around on their spouses, then look the other way.It is not your.concern. Do you pay their bills? Do you know what is going on in their lives? I do not believe it is your spouse because you would be contacting an attorney instead of questioning the HR dept. Would you really want your spouse fired from Toyota if you could prove infidelity? There's no alimony for you if he is unemployed. So...stick to your gym routine and your problems.....this one is not yours!

The person being cheated on probably deserves it so quit trying to control the rest of the world you damn schemer. Stay in your Do-gooder world and keep on pretending your spouse is someone else when you have sex with them.
