Soooooo.... we finially find out what kind of coach Cal is when he does not have six or seven guys that are one year wonders playing their mandatory one year of college before moving on. When the SEC games start especially on the road look for LOTS of lossing this year and maybe next year because I do not see any of these guys going pro for a long time.

I hope they stick around another year. We could have an awesome team next year. But I thought except for free throws they played much better. Seeing how Louisville much more experienced . Go Cats

So if they stick around another year (or two) and then the recuits from next year stay around a year or two then he will not have any scholorships to give and will miss good recruits for at least one year and then we will see ole Cal going somewhere else because he would have to be a coach instead of having pro players putting in their one year of college required. He has already lost some very good recruits to Duke and some others. Just the beginning. Love the Cats just looking at the future.

You are not looking at what coaches look for - player development. As young as this team is you can expect them to continue to improve and right now Florida is the only team I've seen in the SEC that should be favored over KY if they play the way they did against UL. I hope the players stay another year but from the perspective of scouts, Noel and Goodwin are worth drafting this year. Poytress has a huge upside and Cauley Stein will be playing at the next level. If Wiltjer can pick up a step or two in speed he will be drafted, probably after next year. If not the NBA he will play in Europe. Anybody that has watched this team over the past 6 weeks will have them rated in the top 20.

5 of their 8 wins against teams with an RPI over 200!!!! Thats really weak, but should be okay in the weak SEC(7th best in major conferences)!!!

Cal is ok but not worth the money he gets payed, after time the other teams like Louisville's figure him out but the UK team is a joke and that is because UK has some poor recruiters.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the top recruiting BB class for 2013 is Duke. Kentucky is not even in the top 5 right now for 2013 and Wiggens from Huntington Prep is leaning real hard to North Carolina which will drop Kentucky another notch or two
