With all the light being shined on the union machine in this country and their money going to support their candidate in chief Hussein O, is the so called "threat" of infiltration into TMMK finally behind us? Let's hope so. Workers are finally wising up.

I think you're right. The union succeeded in killing itself by getting regular old factory workers so much money in salaries that they think they're rich, and are starting to vote republican. What I'm looking forward to is Romney passing federal "right to work" legislation to make "closed shops" a thing of the past. Once workers are no longer forced to join unions just to be employed at certain places, workers will drop their union memberships like a hot potato and before you know it, the unions will be DEAD.

Then car makers like our very own Toyota can finally slash the pay of their factory workers down to the prevailing wage of about $13/hr, like they've said they want to, so that regular working people in this country will be able to afford to buy a Camry instead of being pushed into a friggin Sonata.

Imao are you a UAW worker? If so tell us how you've made out the last few years. Had a raise lately? Going to get one anytime in the near future? Healthcare been cut? Does the big three have 2nd tier workers who make half of what we make? Be honest because I do work there. I've seen you on many auto websites always pushing UAW.

ill be getting $3200/mnth in pension for the rest of my life, plus cola (starting in one year), what do the non-union companies get? all those cuts u speak of were bargained because of a bad economy and we will be able to re-negotiate at the new economy rate. we arent told what we accept and we didnt just take a pay cut (like toyota) when sales surged 45%! thats what a union will do for u brother. so are u just jealous because union members make more than you? u can easily google to see union employees earn 35% better wages! end of story

Ford has already started to convert management into a 401k retirement what make you so sure they won't do that to hourly? I work at ford in Louisville truck plant so I know what we are suppose to get. Are you a UAW recruiter? Will you answer any questions honestly? Toyota workers seem happy with what they have so why not leave them alone. I've heard many times "unionize them at any cost".

yes I want the lower wages!!!!!! People make too much money!!!! What we are working for as a nation is to socialize all aspects of the economy! We must nationalize all production in the USA we need to be like Sweeden Denmark all free health care free college free housing. National transportation yes the US would be great then!!!!! Others would take care if us collectively we take care of each other vote Obama!!!!!

has started/could be = rhetoric! what makes u think toyota employees are happy with a pay cut when biz is booming? u sound like a company man to me? did u google what i told you? who is being honest now? regardless of what u claim the big 3 has lost....we sure as hell know they would have lost a lot more if the company didnt have to go thru the union to get it!!

Why is it that you fight people in order to make lower wages? If that's what you want I'm sure your employer will oblige. Move to Mexico partner. Some of us feel we are worth middle class wages
