Toyota incomes with the delusions that they make Bill Gates' income.

Houses that are poorly built, with a hefty fee for the golf course. And of course all those lovely golf balls leaving dents in the cheap siding, and breaking windows.

Don't let the negative comments sway you, have you noticed that most on here like to be negative all the time?

I've lived in Canewood for 8 years. Nice neighborhood for the money. Yes, you may get hit by a golf ball once in awhile, depending on where you live, and the fee you pay is alot if you don't golf. If you golf, it's a great deal. The neighbors are quiet, there is little traffic, it is great for kids and close to good schools. Restaurant and pool are nice to have too. There are many of social activities centered around the members as well.

Agreed. It's not a bad neighborhood at all. Pills? That's all these topix people seem to think about.

Just depends on what you are looking for. If you fit in with those living beyond their means, it's probably good.(and I don't even mean that sarcastically. Some people are perfectly happy and content living beyond means).

I have lived in Canewood for over 9 years- i moved there when i was in my teens. It was a very nice place to grow up and gave me a good start when i moved from another town. People automatically associate it with snobbery and a lot of money; but thats not always the case. Not everyone that lives there is rolling in money, I know for certain my family is not. However, it is a very nice neighborhood, classy people, nice neighbors, decent housing, very kid-friendly, good elementary school nearby. Its perfect for going on walks with your family... a good place to raise a family. The only downside is the payment for living there- which as said above is worth it if you use the pool or golf frequently.

I thought about moving there years ago but when we looked at homes they seemed to be cheaply built and they were so close together you could lean out of your window and clean your neighbor's windows. Not all of the houses are this close but most are.

My family was one of the first houses in canewood. We have watched it grow up. It is a wonderful neighborhood to live in. Everyone is really nice and there are a lot of really nice things offered such as the golf course, pool, restaurant. I've never seen a house close enough to where you can lean out your window and clean your neighbors. That's ridiculous. The houses are no closer then any other average neighborhood. Cherry blossom is where all the rich snobs are.
