The Paris Walmart has Santa there once a year and they even take a free phota for you and you pick it up back in the photo lab. I called today but they already had it this year. It's a shame the Georgetown Walmart doesnt have anything like that. :(

Please tell me you don't have kids! Kids have vivid imaginations and if they aren't allowed to express that then their brains don't develop properly. Play is the work of children. Clearly you've never been encouraged to use your imagination.

I'm an adult and I still believe! Even though Santa Claus is a fictional character, I believe in what he stands for, kindness, giving, cheer and magic! I see no harm in that. Of coarse it will have to be explained to a child sooner or later. Santa Claus may be just for the imagination but the spirit of Santa Claus and what he stands for is very real to me! Merry Christmas!

I have two daughters who are in elementary and high school who have never been taught to "believe" the lie. They are just fine. Santa is satan's distraction. Yes, I know you who are so far in sin that you will laugh at me and call me an idiot but the truth is the truth. I try to live and let live but I had to put in my 2cents. Do kids really care so much about where the gifts come from that it is worth this elaborate lie?

I am glad she is so well loved. However, be careful of making her your "whole world" as God is the only one who fits this role. Doing otherwise makes for a dysfunctional family.

Pardon me, but Santa is not a product of kids' imaginations, it is a product of parents' lies. Help your child truly develop an imagination. Wait, do you understand that?

On the other hand, I DO take my pets to have a Santa picture every year. It doesn't harm them at all to believe in Santa!!!!

i just asked were i could see santa not for opinion on telling me how to live my life or raise my child. we are spiritual and its not anybody else's place to tell me about MY relationship with God, worry about yourself! because my family and I are going to have an amazing Christmas! on anther note if you ppl are so religious what do you do to help others, not just this time of year but all year around? simply sit behind a computer and judge? In my oppinion you are feeding into your own lie, because those who have a true relationship with God have no reason to judge others because they are content in their own lives knowing what they believe!sounds like to me you are trying to justify the way you believe, if it was really that true to you there would be no need for justification!

Never said my relationship with God was a-ok. Never judged you either. Not sure why you think I sit at my computer year round. Didn't start the debate - just put in my 2 cents. That's kind of what topix is. But if you want to see him, he's at Arby's today.
