Gurp, you're not looking at that program objectively. This tells me that you're either a fan, a player, or the parent of a player and, therefore, a homer. He wins just enough every year to disappoint in November. He would have been fired by now anywhere else because he's a deusch.

<quoted text>We play teams that are 6A in our district. There's a new rule that came into action stating that private schools can no longer play public schools. That's why we don't play them. SC is dominate in 6A ball, not their fault for having the talent and coaching staff that teaches them how to win.
and recruiting. That helps too.

Does UK win the NCAA basketball championship every year? Alabama football? New York Yankees? Dallas Cowboys? You, my friend, are a dumb ass of epic proportions.
Sound likes a coach... But uk would win if they played the Eku, nku, bctc teams like schs does. Look at the schedule coach, we can ... These kids deserve better . They deserve someone to coach them in football and coach them in respect, integrity and dignity... Which of course one can't teach if they don't know it themselves.

Just watched the JV team beat up on Bryan Station 28 to 0 at the half. The quarterback Hickey looked good and Theo Price ran the ball well in the first half. The freshman team held off a late surge from station and won 22 to 20. The future looks bright at Scott County.

There is certainly enoguh talent in Scott County to support two winning football teams. Its a shame that each student doesn't have a desk and text books. Bye God, there's enough helmets and mouthguards though.

I guess we could quit using buses and give up sports to save money to build a second High School. Our kids could just ride their bicycles to school in that new lane downtown, they would get their quicker.Marvin Thompson city council member.

If not for a private, all boys school that openly recruits the best student-athletes from multiple states, Scott County would have at least two football championships during McKee's time there.
But with that said, I don't like the man, never have. I feel he is rude and beleive he is classless for using the worst profanity possible around the boys. He is not a very good role model. But he is a very good coach. In short, if your child is a good football player and you want him to have a good football career, McKee is great. But if you want your son to learn moral values and how to be a resectful young man, McKee is one of the worst in KY, and I've stood on the sideline of hundreds of teams in the last three decades.
I agree 100% with you and it needs to stop, alot of good players never get to play for him. The cussing is terrible he treats them awful. I would rather my son be taught morals and values. Championships are good. But, these kids are not going to win everything in life. They need to be taught to lose gracefully. There is nothing graceful aboutthe football coaches and my son is in middle school. Mr.McKee sets the tone for all of the coaches and one word to describe there behavior is Terrible. Scott County needs a change!

Yes, for some kids maybe, but for some kids and parents its a very dim light! Scott county schools is very political. Politics don't belong in the schools! I thought this was about the student athletes! Actually it seems to be about the coaches and winning!

He's scum...there's a reason that a program as down as Bourbon Co. traditionally is wouldn't want him.

In my opinion the best player at their position starts that position, the second best player backs up the starter and on down the line. What school wants to field a losing program? What coach wants to coach a losing program? What student athlete wants to play at a school that is a losing program? My guess is none. Other than the coach starting his kidd at quarterback I don't see any favoritism.I think as of right now the coaches son is the best kid for the job. Hickey is good but he needs a growth spurt, just too small for the job right now. So if your complaining about your kid not playing because the lack of another high school in the county don't. This season we have one high school Scott County High School and thats it. The B.O.E. knows about all the people that want to build another H.S. but thats a whole different subject. Alls I can say is go Scott County and if you don't like it then the heck with you!

Coach may come off as a dick but he is a great coach and a good personality. We went 14-1 last year and scored the most points anyone scored one Trinity the #2 team in the COUNTRY. Coach McKee knows how to run a team.

The team played great last night.Madison Central is one of the better 6A schools in the area, and Scott County totally dominated them. The only thing I can think of that bothered me was Clay Mckee throwing the ball up for grabs a couple of times. Clay just needs to be more accurate in the passing game, don't get so much air under the ball.Lucky to have Scotty there to bail him out.The running game was strong as always!
