These guys sit in their house on duty and the car stays running. There was soo much water from the muff that the city water guys we called to the subdivision to fix a water leak traced back to the car running in the driveway. What a crock off shot. I heard of the car running for up to 5 hours at a time. Way to go guys I hope I get a raise to pay you're damn gas bill!!!!!

I thinks it's good they drive the cars. If ppl see it maybe the crime won't happen. But I think if a cop lives out of town than that's too much gas to waste they should have to pay to drive it out of the city or drive thier own car

"SOME" Lexington cops drive their cars to GTOWN, but the ones who do, pay for their mileage/gas inside the Scott County line.
As for John Goble, he is a 25 year State Police vet and he is EXACTLY what we need in a Sheriff. He would put an end to all the "good ol' boy" ways and bring some Trooper discipline to the department and the county. John is WELL CONNECTED with the KSP and the FBI, etc.
Discipline? John needs to exercise some discipline and step away from the plate. His fat ass could not pass any law enforcement physical.

Is there a physical? I mean look at some of the police, and deputies. How could some of them ever catch someone in a foot pursuit? There is no way they could run.

ok i have to say I am sick and tired of the deputy sheriffs sitting at home all day doing nothing while our tax dollars go to them doing NOTHING. I mean shouldnt they be at work? Someone might want to check their residence to see exactly where they are and answer why they aren't doing their job. I wish I could get paid to sit home all day. Can they just drive their "cop" cars around doing personal business all day? I'm really tired of the crap they pull. Does the sheriff know what some are doing when they claim they are working? We are watching and we DO notice. Just sayin...
this is still goint on and needs to change

Still upset as being a neighbor to the meth lab bust on St. Ground Rd last year. City and County boys sat in their cars for 2 hrs, doing what? lol lol The cook cleaned the house of evidence. He is out of jail...it is all a joke and the tax payer pays the bill for a good laugh.

Clearly you know absolutely nothing so I guess I'll have to spell it out for you. These officers do have lives outside of work. They have families and responsiblities that need to be taken care of. So I'm sure that the cop, that most likely had his child in the front seat, would just leave his kid wherever he/she was at in the time, in the event that it inconveniences or offends you. Who cares about his child as long as your happy right? And the cop that ran into the pole? He was leaving to go to a scene of an assault in the middle of the night while you were in your nice warm bed. And I also know for a fact that he got an even more rundown cruiser after, and did not get a new "sports car". So unless your man or woman enough to go out and do the job they do and face the dangers they face, I suggest you shut the fuck up.

I saw one of the deputies driving with a little blonde kid IN THE FRONT SEAT- now come on. First of all is that SAFE for kid? What if he runs up on a wreck or a robbery and he has his kid in the front seat - talk about putting someone in the line of fire. Second - is this seriously what our
Tax money is paying? For these fellas to cruise around in brand new sport cars? What happened to the normal cop cars? Why are WE paying for all these cars? Notice all the wrecks these cops are getting in? The one that just happened to hit a pole in a parking lot? Hmmm --- WE tax payers rewarded

Post - guess you'd be pretty
Lucky to be the Sheriff's family or lap dog and have enough smarts

For all the ones that complain, The sheriffs department has an open door ride along program. Go down and ride with one of them. Truly walk a day in their shoes, I've done it, it was a real eye opener and they all openly told and answered any questions I had.

So live a day in their shoes cause they give u the opportunity or stop bitching cause u really don't know.
