Well all I can say is I had been a patient there and it it bullshit, you have to wait far too long to be seen, and the doctor is a dick. I got what I wanted but ya knw for that money i went somewhere else that im in and out of in 30 mins, everyone should try Dr. Duma in Richmond he is good. Very nice man.
Did you stop to consider that the "nice" guy is running a pill mill? These guys are busy because they are pretty much the only legitimate pain management clinic in Kentucky. They do INTERVENTIONAL pain management and abide by all DEA rules. They participate in the DEA's database to identify pill-seekers that go to multiple clinics for their drugs. I'd be more afraid of the quick "in and out" pain clinic.

too bad the DEA doesn't have a pill seekers database. The state does. Cabinet for Health and Family Services to be exact. Get your facts straight. Obviously if you can't get your facts right then why would anyone believe you when you say they are a legit place?

Too bad Will Singleton also has had numerous complaints against him buy his ex's. Nice guys don't beat their girlfriends. An his security guarsd? Convicted felons. His ex Bethany? Pill head. Sounds like a real nice place to go.

pain..ya right..bunch of hypocondriacts is what most people who go to these places are. Find it so hard to believe so many people in this state are in "pain". If you were in so much pain, you'd go to a surgeon and see about getting your problem fixed!! Either A. you're a big baby and can't tolerate any sort of pain or B. you're lying and are really not in pain...you're in withdrawl!!
Someone who is really in pain and wanted to do something about it would find other alternatives or do whatever they could to fix the problem. There are other options to deal with pain like surgery or physical therapy. I had damaged discs for 7 years and ended up having surgery. Best thing I have ever done. Never once did I take a drug but you know what? I got tired of being in pain and not being able to walk well so I did something about it and found a suregon.
And in case most of you don't know...a real doctor like an orthopedic surgeon only charges $80 to $100 for a visit.$250 to a pain clinic is a rip off and obviously not doing you much good because you all still keep crying about how you're in pain even though you take the drugs. And don't talk about how you can't afford a real doctor or surgery...they will let you make payments which is far less than the $250 a month you pain to go to the pill mill.
There are military veterans who've had limbs amputated who re-nlist in the military or go on to do big things like running a marathon...you don't see them crying or whining about being in pain now do you???!!!
if you have ever had cancer and had lymphedema(sp) you not talk about being a cry baby as i am still working every day. sometimes the pain is so bad that i do feel like crying so i take the meds and continue working

Yep, it is a legal pill mill! As far as office operation and doctors they do abide by state law, but good luck with your perscriptions! Most pharmacies refuse to fill for them because the Board of Pharmacy has wRned them nit to do so! I know because I, too, was a patient there! That was all I needed to know before changing to another doctor in which I have no problem getting scripts filled. No, if you are selling or abusing your meds don't bother going anywhere else! Most won't give more than the bare minimum to help with your pain! That's ALL you need IF you are a legit patient anyway! The only people complaining are the ones dealing and their profits have been cut!

Florida does not have the money to operate the prescription monitoring system. Florida is broke like most states. The money was donated to the state of Florida to start up the prescription monitoring system but the state of Florida doesnt have the money to keep it up and running.
Pain wrote:
They do not seem like a pill mill based on what others have posted most recently (there must be 5 or 6 threads about this place on topix in different cities in Kentucky). And even the drug testing of urine in such collection labs first do a simple walmart quality dip-stick drug test first before they bother to screen the urine any further through a gas detection machine so they can keep their profits high. I know a person that used to work at such and outfit. The use of a lab for testing does not mean crap, for one thing the labs are often wrong and do not even detect common nerve meds and such because I have seen it happen. Next think about the math- If a pain clinic charges $200 a month that is high enough PLUS the cost of meds, we do not need $250 urine checks on every person because then the clinic raises their rates. Also Kentucky has the toughest anti-pill mill laws of any state near us, just look up the laws.
And of course the DEA is watching. Every single opiate 'script has a DEA # stamped on it, they do not need to be told what they already know. The clinics do drug testing and random pill counts and at the prices they plus a pharmacy charges, just how the heck is a dealer going to make a profit or how long would a true abuser last before getting caught?
The clinic is keeping a close eye on what is going on out of state as they screen new patients for any out of state evidence of getting meds in Florida or where ever. This became very obvious to me based on their questions and gathering of my most personal information. Not a pill mill to me.
I have an appointment for this place, and I learned a lot via the last phone conversation. I had to call more than once to even get a chance to make an appointment and I mainly got in because I am already being treated by another doctor and I just want to change to a doctor that I feel does more to control pain. An abuser could easily buy pills off the street cheaper than jumping through all the hoops this place has and pay about a thousand for monthly meds for one person, while Florida has patients going doctor to doctor on the same day as they gather hundreds of pills to bring back. A dealer would be hard press to make a profit on this local clinic based on how I am advised they prescribe meds too.
Giving Florida's Governor sudden change of heart about putting a prescription monitoring system in place it seems to me that the DEA will still have to stay on Florida's ass- Florida is making too much money, and they have to be making a killing on taxes too- Thats why they suddenly changed their mind about putting into place their prescription monitoring data base- it would mean a depression for their state!! So Florida remains Kentucky's main problem with people down there reporting in some parking lots having 90% Kentucky plates on the cars/trucks. And as fast as they close them new ones open up. And I want nothing to do with it because I think the day will come where the DEA may just take a week and bust the entire state down there due to lack of cooperation.

The DEA will eventually shut down this pain clinic and most pain clinics in KY if they are not legit because of all the pillbillys in KY. The DEA sends in CI's into these clinics with audio and video for a year or more until they make a good case against the doctors and owners of the pain clinic. The DEA has shut down a lot of pain clinics in south Florida and sending doctors and pain clinic owners to federal prison. Jeff George who owned American Pain in south florida just got sentenced to 15 1/2 years in federal prison. He has to self surrender in April 2012. If you are selling your pain meds its only a matter of time before the DEA catches you. The DEA has CI's all over KY. The DEA takes their time and builds a good case against you. Then just when you think life is good with a pocket full of cash the DEA arrests you. I saw it happen to my cousin. He's in a federal prison camp now serving his 7 year sentence.

Lots of pharmacists are afraid to fill these pain med prescriptions if they are from a pain clinic because some pharmists have gone to prison and lost their licenses for doing so. It happened in Columbus, Ohio recently to a pharmacist. He got 2 years in federal prison, a huge fine, lost his pharmacist license for life, and has community service to perform along with supervised release after he serves his 2 year federal prison sentence. Pharmacists have to much to lose by filling these pain clinic scripts...

Ok, I have to revise my previous comment - this may indeed be a pill mill. They are currently under investigation by the DEA, and things don't look so good. So, I apologize for my previous "soap box" rant about them "ABSOLUTELY NOT" being a pill mill.

Sigh...won't these types of practices ever go away? They take advantage of people AND make it harder and harder for people with real pain management needs to get help!

I find it odd the dea would allow him to open a clinic and hire doctors to violate their code of ethics and write prescriptions to those who are not truly in need of them. I bet he's just trying to profit off of other people's addictions.

Todd Willoughby is also a CI for the DEA. Stay far far away from him unless you want to go to federal prison. Todd Willoughby is a little BITCH that turns confidential informant every time he gets in trouble. When he eventually goes to prison the other inmates will tattoo a pair of tits on his back and take turns tearing his Ass up! Todd will have to wear Depends when he gets out of prison! Bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

The DEA-Lex will only shut down any pill mill that opens in or around Lexington, KY. Pill mills would be better off to go farther north. They wont last long in KY.

I do not know how you have a brain to raise children. I have a disease that is untreatable. I have had 8 brain surgeries and 2 spinal surgeries to remove tumors that are eating away at my spinal cord. I also have four teenagers to take care of since my wife died of cancer five years ago.All that the doctors can do for me is treat my symptoms, which is severe pain. I don't know you, but let me tell you what I do know! My wife suffered severe pain also so I see this from the other side. I was hit by a drunk driver at the age of 27 pulling in my drisveway on my way home from work. I was told I had a blood clot on my brain and was operated on 2 days later. People like you with that "holier than thou" attitude need to get off there soap boxes and preach to the alcohol companies. When using your methods of knowing every one that goes into these clinics are druggies,we should arrest everyone that purchases alcohol because I have seen the type of people that drink. For instance my father. He started drinking when I was about 9, by the time I was 12 he would beat me on a regular basis. I guess that means that everyone that drinks does the same thing. I was an 8 year old boy when I was molested by a drunk that lived down the road from us. I just want you to know that yes some people abuse the system but don't even think that you know anyones intentions. I have enough faith in my parenting to believe my children will stay away from these things. If you really love your chidren. Teach them to think before they talk. Research the disease I have and maybe you will see that even people who aren't druggies have to take these same medications so that they can take care of their children. Your name should have been. IDONTKNOWS you can figure out the rest.
