yes they wont hold your check longer than 2 weeks even if its not on your pay day like check n go or advance america they will tell you they have to hold it for at least 2 weeks if it falls between pay then they will hold it a extra week
check n go by lowes will hold your check till payday even if its 3 weeks
advance america by kmart will do the same i prefer this place
but cash express behind gold star if im between pay days wont hold it for 3 weeks to get to the next pay period like the others will they want you to pay it back between paydays or you can take care of it early but dont get your charges reduced
all 3 the employees are pretty nice check n go the lady is real nosy and likes to sit and chat
cash express is a talker also
advance america is more business oriented thats why i like them go in do your business and leave but all 3 will give you cash but you pay for it but things happen

Go to check advance by fifth third. Them girls in there are sweet as can be!! They will work with you as long as you work with them. I go in there even when I don't have a check out just to talk to them. They're that sweet and down to earth.

Your dumb for usin any of them!!! They suck you in an never get out of it! How many ppl pay them off on pay day then turn around an borrow it right back cause they jus gave them their whole check? The fees are extremely high! They prey on the workin poor an ppl with fixed incomes!!

Hunny I get what your saying but if you need some extra cash they are awesome to have. And the fees are a little high but you do what you gotta do. And how do they prey on people? People walk in there and ask them for loans. Not the other way around. And I'll tell you this there are more people who make good money going into those types of places than people who don't. And that's no lie sweet heart.:)

They're really no different than credit card companies. Card issuers lure you in with low interest rates, just like cash advance places get you in the door with "borrow $200, pay $203" deals and everything's all good...until you get in over your head.

Having people get in over their heads is where they *really* make their money.

The difference is that card issuers actually know the moment you're getting in trouble based on your credit score, the balances you carry, and the payments you're making, and they can modify the terms of the agreement on the fly in their favor as things get worse for the borrower.

When they see that you're getting in trouble and have become reliant on using the card, they start raising your interest rates and keep pouring it on until they see that you're now only making your minimum payment. That's when they know you're at your budget's limit, so credit line increases stop happening, the card quickly gets maxed out, and you're STUCK paying as much as you possibly can each month as a minimum payment, mostly toward interest.

The best advice is to avoid using either credit cards or cash advance places. If that's not possible.....better not get in over your head, or you're SUNK. It's that simple.
