I haven't had my hair cut there, but I did go in to see about getting an appointment and the receptionist was extremely rude. Like I was wasting her time by even ASKING to schedule an appointment. She gave me their card and I dropped it on the floor on the way out the door. I will never go there again.

I ended up going to Salon 151 downtown and Dennis cut my SUPER long hair into the cutest bob ever. I highly recommend him. I think I paid about $50, but that was with a $15 tip. Look them up!

Where is this place called Artique located?
From some of the post made, you would think it is in New York City.

I had a bad experience with one of the receptionist. The short blonde lady struck me as being rude too. Wouldn't reccommend it to anyone.

Hey, RENAISANCE DAY SPA is the best place to get your hair done, yeah it may be expensive but you get what you pay for. Come on people, let the moths out of your wallet. LMAO.

I thought this place was awesome, fir a shampoo cut and blow dry it was 26. Which is very reasonable...highlights cheaper than what the bi$&@es at walmart charges must pay for upscale if that's what you want and it was definitely worth every penny I paid, although I also like Jessica smith at salon 151 downtown.

I have gotten my hair done there a couple of times. Tammy is terrific but the rude, short-haired woman is the owner! Can you believe that? She's just terrible at haircuts and she does what SHE wants no matter what you say! If she didn't have good stylists, she'd be out of business!!! She let's her kid run around the shop while she fussed at him (or her?) while she was trying to cut my hair!! I thnk she used to work at Sutra on Broadway.

I went to Artique and I felt right at home there. Yes it looks upscale but everyone is soo nice there. They offer you drinks, parafin dips for your hands and just a fun place to be. They do have kids in there but that was great for me since I have kids and had to take them with me. They had video games for them to play, toys and tv all in the back. Very kid friendly. Sara does my hair and she's very nice.

I go to Artique and would never go any where else! They are great! I love that they are kid friendly and upscale (you get what you pay for)! I have always had a good experience there. Stacy always does what I ask and the color and highlights always look great! I have been to almost every salon in G-town and this is the best so far. They treat customers well and take the time to get to know you. I would reccommend them to everyone!:)

Yes, the short haired blonde is the owner, her name is Stacey. She is very nice, and she did an excellent job on my cut and highlights. Who cares if her kid is in the shop, he usually sits in the back playing games anyway.
