I live in Elkhorn Green Subdivison, and I am sad to say that this place has become nothing but garabage due to the kids that run the streets. There is a group of boys that run these streets and cause nothing but problems. These boys have been caught vandalizing property(sitting people's yards on fire, breaking in and tearing up the inside of homes) shooting people's pets in their backyards, stabbing other kids and picking fights with little kids. All of these instances the cops have been called, they have been caught and they still continue to walk the streets. What is it going to take for these punks to be put away before they kill someone? Why are the cops just letting them get away with this stuff? I think it is time for everyone that sees this group of kids to call the law on them if you see them doing ANYTHING wrong. Maybe if people started calling the cops for every little thing, they would get them off the streets!

Calling the cops everytime you see them is just going to make things worse. Groups like that usually thrive on stuff like that. They just go to school and brag about it the next day. Plus if you do call the cops for every little thing they do, the cops will get annoyed and just stop coming out.

This neighborhood has turned into the ghetto of subdivisions. We are all prisoners. Can't sell the market sucks, we've been trying for a year. Can't try talking to their parents or the police because they mess up your cars and houses even more. Kids can't gp out and play because they get bullied. It's an awful place to live. We even have one 9th grader who goes around waving toy guns and will point it at you and pretend to shoot you. I just keep hanging on to the hope of seeing a sold sign in my yard.

You must be stupid? Handle it yourself.
What can you not handle a couple of kids by yourself? If you overuse the cops then you just piss the cops off and everyone else

How do you suppose we handle them. 1) the parents can't control them or even care to. 2) the schools can't control them. 3) the cops don't scare them. 4) social services turns their back. We are not talking about typical neighborhood punks. We are talking about seriously problem teens that can and will cause physical harm to animals, people and property. We are talking about teens who carry weapons and flaunt them. We are talking about teens who will cuss you and harass you and your family if you say a word. We are talking about teens that are completely out of control and no one can stop them. We are talking about teens who come from broken, abusive homes. These teens have no boundries and no sense of right and wrong! Some neighbors have tried to reach out and befriend these boys. In return we have been stolen from, property damaged and our children threatened! So staying within the law of the land what do you propose we do?

Built my first home there, lived there less than four years and saw this was where the neighborhood was going 7 years ago when we sold and built elsewhere. The kids I called the cops on everyday then have got to be in their twenties now. They were still building then. Kids were always in dumpsters with broken glass, nails, splintered boards. I have no idea how they kept from getting themselves killed.

I've lived in the subdivision for quite sometime and I hate it here. Just like everyone housing market is bad and can't sell. Between the broken down cars and the campers in the driveways it looks like a trailer park. The kids walk around never being watched. Even small kids will be in te middle of the street and they wint move and the parents are no where to be seen. Oh and let's not forget about the cats that run around and sit on top of your cars and scratch them

Yes we do have some neighbors that have let their homes get run down. If a car is been parked or stored on the street for more than 24 hrs w/out being moved, call the police or code enforcement and they will put a red tag on it and it will be towed at the owners expense after 24hrs. As far as Michael and Dustin, the police cannot parent them. Their parents have obviously failed and if they have threatened you, your family, stole, or damaged your property then call the police and do a report. Complaining that the police don't do anything is ridiculous (Enough is Enough). They can't do anything about teenagers walking around and can't charge ANYBODY for a Misdemeanor not committed in their presence. That is the victim's job to report it. And do you really think they would be thrown into jail for vandalism and petty theft?(Enough is Enough)I agree that this neighborhood has many problems but they are small compared to most subdivisions. Go to the Home Owners meeting and voice your concerns...

What is your definition of ANYTHING? And why do you think they will kill someone? What have they done to date that would warrant being "put away?" Have you ever talked to them or their parents?

Obviously you didn't read anything that I posted because if you did you wouldn't need to ask the questions that you just asked. So, not wasting my time repeating myself, thanks.

The punks mentioned above ruin this neighborhood. As well as the trash they hang out with it. The Smith family on Timberwood is also an embarrassment to the entire community. Toys, bikes, garbage, trailers, and campers are a few items in their yard at any given time. They have been reported several times. They clean it up before inspection and then go right back to the way it was. I can only imagine what the inside of their house looks like! They beat the system and we all pay the price!

If you THINK (believe) someone is trying to kill you (ie. pointing a gun at you, even if it turns out later to be a toy), it is legal to shoot and kill them.

Kid would only point a gun at me once.
