So you want to dress your little kiddies up and parade them around for a couple dollars? Isn't that like prostitution? Either way, the next day you'll be complaining that some guy down the street is a pedo for looking at your kid. [email protected] on parade.

I'm sure I will upset some pageant moms and that's not at all my intentions. My question stems from my ignorance of pageants. I don't understand how a Girl can represent Scott county if she is not from or doesn't live in Scott county. Why is it allowed for girls from other counties to enter ? It doesn't make any sense to me. I know of girls from Scott county entering every counties pageants.

. F u b!$c*!!!! You don't win money, they don't allow you to dress the children up like the ones on tv , they all look like children. You have a very sick mind really you do. I had one simple question I never asked you for your opinion on the matter.

I also think it's inappropriate to parade young kids onto a stage for any type of pageant.

Really people. It's just a pageant. I don't have any kids and I thought it was the cutest thing. Every parent thinks their child is gorgeous And want to show them off. There is nothing wrong with pageants. And if you don't like or don't agree with them. Don't go! Simple as that.

Pageants emphasize the wrong things: physical beauty. Whether 2 years old or 20, kids get this. They will always believe that looks are the #1 thing to focus on in life. As for "scholarship" pageants and the like which base part of scores on extra curriculars and community involvement, let's let the girls (because let's face it, male pageants are very rare) just compete in their everyday wear and compete based on questions alone.

Why aren't there more male pageants (right now it's a thing, but almost exclusively gay)?

Because the male world is based on knowledge and power, not looks. Looks still count, but they are not #1.

Empower your daughters: Don't pimp them out!

I know, right? But believe it or not, there is a Mr. Kentucky pageant. Google it!

Your attitude just perpetuates the attitudes that keep women down. Way to go, pretty girl!
