My daughter goes to Toyota Child Development Center, you must be an employee or relative or an employee of TMMK, for your child to go there but it's amazing!
Besides the TCDC, I recommend Creation Kingdom or Georgetown Child Center. Those are the top 3, & I would not take my daughter anywhere outside of those 3 daycares.

Thank you so much! We both work in the medical field and have no family here. I will be calling and setting up visits for the 2 you recommended.:)

I use a private sitter who is amazing. I like the fact that there are limited number of children, and there is more one on one attention.

you're welcome! I highly suggest sticking to those 3. The prices are a little high but you're paying for a great education & development for your children. it's worth every penny.:)

Private sitters are good too, even though my Childs in a daycare where there is more than one child & teacher, I feel she has learned adequately. She is only 3 & knows all her abc's, she can count to 6 in Spanish, & 20 in English, she knows all of her colors in sign language & all of her shapes. So even in a higher child ratio they can still learn the same, if given the appropriately trained teachers. It's more of a personal preference I suppose. Either or :)

I used a private sitter for my 2 older boys and loved it also. The only problem with that is we just moved here and I don't know anyone and I'm afraid to leave her with an in-home sitter :(

I completely agree....There is no price too high that I would pay to know my child is being well taken care of and getting the education and development she needs/deserves. I wish I could stay home with her myself, but as well all know in today's economy that's just not possible anymore!

Send me an email and I can give you my sitter's info, in addition to my children, she keeps a officer's child, a social worker's child and does keep foster children when needed.

Based on what I know about the temper of one of the Creation Kingdom employees, I will not take any of my kids there. I'm not implying she displays this behavior in front of or towards any of the children, but I'm not willing to test the waters.

Grace Early Learning Center is wonderful! I started taking my daughter there when she was 8 weeks and we have loved it every day since the first! She's so happy to be there!

I take my child to a really good home daycare in Bradford Place subdivision in behind the Post Office in Georgetown. She is great with kids and cheaper than the big daycares where they have 1 worker to every five kids. My daughter sleeps much better now and seems happier. I think she has one opening if you are interested in talking to her.

That's interesting seeing as how all employees go through 3 background checks and all are loving women and have had experience with children, most several years worth. I have 2 kids there and absolutely love all of their teachers and several of the floaters that interact with my children. I don't think its fair of you to bash a center when you obviously don't know anyone there or have had any interaction with the teachers. Spend a day in the center and you can see that all the teachers genuinely love each child that they work with! I would never choose another center in Georgetown. My infant is 8 months old and can sign "more", "please", "milk", and "all done". Its amazing the work these ladies put into their babies and the dedication they have for them :)

I'm not saying they don't do great work and I'm not speaking of every employee/teacher there. I'm speaking of the ONE girl there who I know for a fact who recently got into some trouble with the law because of her temper. She probably had a clean record that allowed her to pass the initial background check but I'm curious if she'd be able to pass again. The cops may have dropped the charges, I don't know. I just know for a fact there was an issue.

I am the "one" girls coworker and yes it WAS on her background check. It had nothing to do with a temper; if you knew the circumstances and seen the police report you would know the whole truth. The parents love hre and kids adore her. Our bosses kids specifically ask for her and she actually works with a family member of the girl that she had an issue with and the kids parents are completely fine with the teacher. Get your facts straight before attacking and railroading my friend and coworker.

I live in Bradford Place. I am expecting in June and will be taking 6 weeks off from work so it would be a while before I need her. How can I get in touch with you to talk with her?
