If you call under .500 a good year, then your standards are low. I personally hope that they go a long way in the tournament this year, but wins are not everything. You cant just ignore and push aside what has happened within the program for the last several years.

With the win today and the tie last night they are 14 and 14 and 1, if they score that game a tie. They are peaking at the right time and turning their season around like I said before. Its not a losing season if you don't have more losses than wins. The Scott County Baseball Players deserve our support.

That is good that they are turning thier season around. However, going 14-14 isn't all that great considering that we used to go 30-3 & 28-5. Like I said before its not the players it is the coaching!

That is good that you all went 30-3 and 28-5 in the 8th region. 11th region competition is much tougher!

After doing much research on schedules and the teams we play we have the hardest schedule that I've looked at all year. We play atleast 15 ranked teams and have only played 2 or 3 teams that I could say are weak teams. I think the scheduling made us a better team. We are peaking at the right time and hopefully we can do well in district. I know we have had issues and I don't always agree with the coaches but this team has turned things around and I am very proud of them no matter what happens in the future.

Yeah we played in the 8th region, but we played the to teams in the country. Beat Henry Clay when they were ranked #1 in the state and #5 in the country. We played against MLB top prospects every year!! Had nothing to do with the region wet played in. We played the top teams in the state and country and beat them!

Whether you are 14-14 or 28-5, it still doesnt erase the way the players have been treated and how the program has been run for the last 6-7 years. The program deserves better and the players deserve better!!!!

Can't deny the fact that we play better competition more often than we did then.I'm sure your team wouldn't have as many wins if put them against the top ranked teams in the 11th week in and week out like we do now.post a win loss schedule of those years and I might be impressed but I doubt it because we also have beat top ranked teams and ML prospects as well.

Baseball is ALL about the kids. NO one is saying the kids don't deserve all the support we as parents can give them! They get NO support from the coaches. This is what the forum is about. It's the coaches who treat the players like they are a piece of crap! If the players don't get support from parents, they get no support at all. The coaches need to go! Imagine if the players had positive, supportive coaches who didn't always talk down to them and actually knew a little about baseball what our varsity team could do! Get real people. It's not about winning and losing the games, it's about how our kids are being treated! Who cares how many games they win if the coach is treating them like a piece of garbage and they are quitting the team and not living out their dream to play baseball. These coaches are taking the love of baseball out of these young men. That is a shame that they continue to get away with it. I just don't understand it.

I doubt anything will happen...unfortunately no one gives a damn about these kids except for a few select parents who are not afraid to stand up for our kids! The ones that keep their mouths shut are the ones who can't complain. Enough people file complaint there should be no reason to clean up the coaching staff so our boys can enjoy playing a game that they love and actually learn something in the process. They are not learning anything by being beaten down and bullied. Parents, if you care about your kids, call Mrs. Putty and file a complaint TODAY!

Who is Mrs.Putty and how can she be contacted?I would love to give her a ear full about how they treated my son.The coaches aren't there to teach these kids they are there because it's a J.O.B.The parks and rec have better coaches then the ones there and these coaches don't get paid they are there for the kids and to teach them the fundamentals of baseball.

Contacting ms putty is a big waste of time. She will not call you back, won't email you back, will do everything on her power to avoid you !!!!. Nothing is going to be done to any of the sports coaches. You think baseball is bad, jeez, football is worse and nothing is done. Check out what these coaches make, its pathic!!!! They don't even teach anything but CAB.... Seriously. And then we pay (taxpayers) for coach and son to go to florida free when he doesn't even coach the sport playing. And while we are paying them, the kids under there watch get in trouble with the police. They should be held accountable as well as the kids... But no one can touch the almighty coaches of the county. Sad really sad

Mrs. Putty is the superintendent of SC Schools. You need to email her, as well as Covington and Howitt. Voice your concerns today. The more they have the better off our team will be. We need to get rid of most of the current baseball staff. Several parents have spoken up this year and if they get more parents maybe we can get this done finally. In years past, no one would complain, this year several parents have and are hoping to make a difference for future players. It's too late for my son, but I am hoping that it will benefit the future players in Scott County. I hope that other parents feel the same. Here is her email address. Email all three of them and set up a meeting. Make sure your complain gets into their personell records. [email protected] .us
