I heard the news crews were out there. I would say that Toyota doesn't want that out because they turned half the lights off in the parking lot to save money.

well maybe this will teach some fools that work there, that people do not have the right away in a parking lot!! you do not have the right to stroll down the middle of the road and block traffic while you take your merry time walking to the door!! would you walk across 1-75 and expect the trafiic to stop for you while you made your way to the other side? walk near the rows of cars and leave the middle of the roads open for traffic,,,then look before you cross the road to go into the entrance. this is not meant for the gentleman that got hurt....everyone there does it like they own the roads if they have steel toes on!

Actually it was Paul Zeysing and he is not dead. They may need to remove his leg though. He has several facial fractures and broken bones. One rumor was that wither the driver or Paul was texting and wasn't paying attention.

Pedestrians always have the right away! I agree don't walk down the middle. He was one step away from the curb, not in the middle.

I heard Toyota took some paper work to the hospital so the guy that got hurt could come up with a counter-measure.

They were just stating a fact. It is a fact that pedestrians have the right of way. However they were agreeing with you as do I. It's just like people at wal-mart, walking down the middle of the lanes or longways diagonally on the road instead of the cross walk lines. So anyways my point is the poster was agreeing with you, no need to get nasty.

Also if you walk down the middle of 75 or Cherry Blossom then you probably deserve to get run over!

No I don't! What you are saying makes no sense. People are not expected to get out of there vehicles and walk across the interstate. People are getting out and walking around a parking lot. So yes in a parking lot a pedestrian should have the right of way. Doesn't mean they always get it.

in parking lots (such as walmart) there are designated and marked crosswalks to where people should be able to walk and expect to have the right of way without getting ran over. if you are anywhere else in a parking lot (not marked by a pedestrian walk path) expect to get your azz ran over if you are walking in the road!! its like if someone doing 70 mph on the interstate and locks up their brakes and you rear end them...you are at fault legally but they are at fault when it comes to being born with common sense!!

Where in the hell are they supposed to walk from their car to the building? I have never seen a walk path in any parking lot. I think you are the idiot without common sense! I hope the next time you are walking down the parking lot at Walmart in your own little world on your own little walking path you get your azz run over because you deserve it.
