If your reading this then it is too late, the school tax got not only got a second look but was voted on and passed this time ! Wouldn't it be something if during elections a candidate didn't make it so the party keeps having elections until the candidate finally wins ! This really sucks ! I hope the taxpayers who who voted for this double digit tax increase understand this will set a precident next time the school district needs a budget increase, maybe 25% or 30%??? I do know the average working stiff in this district is lucky to get a 3% increase in pay each year and I'm not so sure this tax increase will improve the quality of teaching the children will get.
