Geneva is ghetto. Dirt bags and drugs. If it wasn't for the college it would be worse.
Geneva is a nice place to live but there is no place saved from violence today. Unfortunally the breeder of crime(rochester NY)throws off its special people who eventually land in Geneva. We here can expect to see an increase in violent crimes from the RSE. as Duffy sets out to show them his powerness, monroe county burbs too will see this effect,.It is my opinion Duffy knows he is chasing the crime wave to the outlying areas,as crime does not go away it just finds a more vurnable and saferplace to spring-up,like a tannibg spa for hookers ,
apart from this breeder effect is the tag along with my cousin: as puertorico sheds there hoods to go hang out with cousin hulio Geneva gets to be there chosen spot.
previous mayors of Rochester have known of the movement of crime and have contained it. Duffy in his self serving arrogance decided to send it a scurrying elsewhere.

I grew up in Geneva and it has slid downhill. Areas in Geneva where I never felt threatened (yes people even Charters Homes) are now places to fear. No one can change this except those that live in those areas. This is true whether in the Geneva Ghetto or Rochester or Iraq etc. Until people that live there decide enough is enough and take action to force the low lifes out of their neighborhoods nothing will change. But it is hard to do the right thing and takes effort and courage. Not so sure if there are people left who care enough. Also, the government cannot save you , stop looking to the givernment for help and help yourselves.
Would be nice to go all medevil in the "hood", but I think that the judges will sentence the do-gooders faster than the actul crooks. I guest if one wanted to sacrifice him/herself for the greater good of the neighborhood, then by all means go after the bums eith vengence. Other than that, our hands are tied. The judges are making money off of those scum, and we all know what happens when you mess with someone
s money.
