There are 1 comment on the Hay & Forage Grower story from Nov 3, 2009, titled Rain Doesna t Hinder This Hay Processor. In it, Hay & Forage Grower reports that:

Wet, cool weather made it a tough year for hay growers trying to put up quality hay in the northeastern U.S. But the weird and whacky weather also made it an almost ideal year for one company to use a new processing system that turns standing forages into dry hay in about four hours.

Concerning the hay drying. Has anyone mentioned the price per ton for this procedure?? We were quoted $350 a ton!!! Not too cost effective for a horse facility growing 30-40 tons of hay, is it??
