So Dollar General is moving across the street? Why? that is not really any larger then what they have now. It would be nice if they were closer to the center of town.

yes I agree it would be nice to see a grocery store in Mt Morris, yet I have seen in the two years I have been here, not much stays going in the town.

I wouldn't blame the one in Avon to move, the shopping center where they are usually has a very bad parking lot in disrepair and is owned by someone from out of town, NY City I think and they need to do extensive work to get the rent they want. Then where it was built was Pasture land before this center went up and after the first couple winters, that parking lot has had problems because it did not have the right base to start with!
