Why do you say that? Who really cares where it is sold. I would prefer wegmans, or tops, it is easier for me to stop at when I need to.

I'm originally from Birmingham but moved to Rochester from Houston. It's much more convenient to be able to purchase wine at the grocery store as opposed to having to go to a liquor store. Both Birmingham and Houston allow wine sales in grocery stores and it really hasn't affected the individual liquor stores. It's about competition and I think the liquor stores are afraid of it! Perhaps the liquor stores need to be a little more creative in their advertising.

At this point, I believe grocery stores want to carry wine, not liquor.

Maybe you need to go back to school to learn how to read. And I do not drink more then for a special occasion, so therefore THAT WOULD BE WHY I would perfer to just go to wegmans, tops, etc... to purchase my products, as I do not want to be bother with a liquor store. You are how old? Obviously not old enough to understand that it is ok for ADULTS to go to the store and buy what they need. If I were a drunk or more, then I would not need it in wegmans, tops, etc... I would just go where ever I could find it. Get your facts straight before telling someone they are a drinker. I have a very good Friend I lost to drinking to much. Thanks for the reminder as to WHY I DO NOT DRINK TOO MUCH!!!! GET YOUR LAZY BUTT TO SCHOOL AND LEARN ABOUT LIFE!

Greece Teen and Western_NY you are both so far off on this forum. Why don't you talk about the matter at hand.

"Rochester-area liquor stores, supermarkets fight over right to sell wine"

Western_NY let it go, you seem like an adult, we have it you are a women. Let it go!

Greece Teen let it go, you seem too really just want to push this person, what is the point, do you enjoy this?

Back on topic, Agreed they should sell in the stores. I live close to the tops and the liquor store is a far drive to go get wine or champane.

First off, that boy was not forced to drink, he did it on his own free will. He had the right to say NO!!!!

And what is your problem, do you enjoy skipping classes, to give people a hard time for no reason?
