I have been hearing some strange rumors that the reason the new lights on govt street have yet to have been turned on has to do with poor planning and CSX refusing to let them run power UNDER their tracks. Has anyone else heard this and what is going on with this project.

Livin free, no that is not true. CSX engineers approved the specifications on the project over a year ago before the project was even advertised for bids. The lights were ready to be turned on in December, but CSX first must synchronize the lights with the rail crossing arms, and they claim they cannot get a crew to do that until April.

They need to hire Scott Walker as a consultant. He could figure out who to influence and for $50,000. could get it done.
