Missing ATV rider is found

An ATV rider who rode into the woods after reportedly threatening to commit suicide was found eating at a Sophia restaurant after emergency service workers say they combed southern Raleigh County for about 18 hours.

What was this? A publicity stunt? Anyone else would probably be arrested for this.

Hardly a publicity stunt. A publicity stunt requires someone to have something they want to publicize, a TV show for example. This man had/has psychological problems and was ready to end his life. This was a cry for help. I hope he gets some.

This guy was not arrested because his family member is a magistrate. There should not have been all of these untrained people out searching for an unstable man with a gun.

it was stupid but he didnt commit any crimes he was admitted into a hospital but he should have to pay back all the money spent looking for him

he didn't ask anyone to look for him, why would he have to pay for it. his so called wife was the casue of it all, make her pay
