Flattery will get you nowhere. Why don't you jump in and make some specific corrections to the thread instead of just the genealized BS that you usually offer. Thanks, Robert.

So you got no rebuttal? You can sling that crap all day, but without a logical rebuttal, you just look like an ignorant whiner.

Illuminati you seem to be quite angry. Before you blow a blood vessel you should just calm down and recognize that there is opposition to your way of thinking.I have voted republican in the last three elections.I won't make my mind up on who to vote for until the day before the election. That's what a lot of Independents are going to do I believe. The battle has not yet really been joined but things will heat up considerably in the near future.can't wait for the debates!

<quoted text>I see you give zero reasons for why you are against gay marriage. Homosexuality is not a choice, but even if it was, what is your point? You give none. I suspect it is emotional, seeing as how you cannot explain your reasoning, you must have none.
Ok man, I will not be leaving. I will make it my job to make you and the merry band or retards leave.

"While I may not be a bible thumper, I was taught the difference between right and wrong. Being gay is a choice and in my opinion a choice that is not right, not matter how you try to justify it. Legalized gay marriage is wrong. An overwhelming majority of North Carolinians also agreed it is wrong."

My parents instilled in me early on in my life, that marriage was a sanctimonious bond between man and woman and God. They taught me it should always be respected as well as respecting your spouse because you only get one. They also taught me that no one was ever born gay, because it was a learned trait. And for me, it is a trait I do not agree with. Just like divorce. I do not agree with divorce.

Since you obviously feel there is nothing wrong with being gay, and that is your opinion, then why is the gay community pushing for legalized marriage? If you want to throw in the organized religion aspect on the gay community, in the eyes of God, their union could and would not stand in His house or kingdom. Mind you, I am quoting a friend of mine, who is a minister at one of my local churches and has his PhD in Theology. I understand he does not speak for the entirety of organized religion, but he could qualify as an expert on the subject of religion.

The fact that marriage is a benefits to the institution, i.e. tax breaks or credits, is just de facto. Gay couples can already add their domestic partners to their HMO and health care plans now. So what is the actual benefit they seek to gain, other than an attempt to be inflammatory? Since my health care plan is mine, why can I not add who I want and who I do not want, since I am paying for it out of my pocket? How is that fair to me? Why can't I keep my adult kids on my HMO after they turn 26, but gay couples can cover their domestic partners?

Secede from the Union, take your country back. Obama maybe the commander in chief, but he is NOT my president.

And for the record, it is my opinion, there should not be an Independent party when it comes to politics, you should have to choose a side.

So you are not a bible thumper yet only protest gay rights due to religious reasons? Your moral reasoning is all religious based. You give no other reasoning for your moral position.
I and all experts say it is not a choice, but if you wish to have blind faith and say it is, what does that have to do with morality?

So you are against divorce, but that is not illegal. You see, in America, just because some think things are not so moral personally, we like to give freedom for the individual to chose as long as it is not hurting others.

You have been chanting the freedom line here, yet on this, you are one hundred eighty degrees from personal freedom.

I think your kids should be able to stay on your insurance policy for life if you wish. Obama care made the age higher. Republicans are against it.

And from what I understand, the benefits of marriage are not all granted to homosexual couples unless married.
This is not fair and is unequal. This makes for a civil rights debate.

Finally ,Romney is getting the recognition and appreciation he deserves for outsourcing American jobs to CHINA. The CHINESE plan to vote for him by sending lots of super PAC money to influence our election. If elected, then Romney can outsource more of our jobs to CHINA and put the money he makes from that into SWISS bank accounts. He plans to vulture capitilize America and the republitards plan to help him .

Constitution is man's law and the Bible is God's law. The Bible gives man the wisdom to make man's law.

Only two perfect things ever were and that is God and his only son Jesus Christ.
