To the guy who was smoking at Martha Rivers park today in the kids play area... you were breaking a rule. Maybe you can't read but the sign where you enter says no smoking. I guess you didn't really care though.

Call me a coward or whatever for not saying anything to you then but I didn't want a confrontation in front of my little girl (and you look like the kind of person to be mean and nasty). So yes, all I did was give you the evil eye, say to my husband (hopefully loud enough for you to hear) "that guy is smoking and you aren't suppose ot smoke in here" and we moved to the other side of the playground.

Could you not refrain from your nasty little habit while you were in the play are? If not, if you are so addicted I mean, why could you not step out to the parking area or somewhere away from the kids play area? You might not care about your child being around and inhaling carcinigenic smoke but I do and most other parents do too!

Maybe next time I will be brave enough to say something. Or maybe there will be a police officer who can say something to you, at least he could have some authority behind him as opposed to little me who just wanted to have a nice day at the park with my little girl.

Were you feeding your children hot dogs and hamburgers, madam? You do know that eating the wrong kinds of foods like that will clog their arteries and kill them, just as much as smoking.

Look Chic, get over it! Yea, maybe he should have been respectful of the facility and followed the rules. But if your not gonna speak up at the time you saw him then it must not have bothered you too bad. If someone is doing something around me or my child in a public area I don't like I WILL tactfully say something. So speak up or zip it up... Just saying
