I,m still waiting on that huge economic engine at the oaks to fire up. 74 still has many open tracts. And these places already are in close proximity to a major highway. Sounds like a load of hooey to me! Wake up taxpayers you are about to get soaked again.

So the DOT paid $2.3 million for a random 145 acres that just happen to be in the path of the GP? Taxpayers should be outraged. But they're not because it was bought for a purpose. This thing is a done deal and thus the land was purchased.
