Former Gaston Mayor Larry Sharpe plead guilty to felony breach of trust of more than $5,000, Friday afternoon.

A source in the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor's office said Sharpe offered his plea at a motion session.

Sharpe was scheduled to go to trial on Oct. 29, before the guilty plea.

Sentencing will be in the near future according to the source. Interested

Sharpe was accused of filing fraudulent reimbursements.

Former Town Administrator Jennifer Poole plead guilty to felony breach of trust on Monday. Her Daughter, Jessica Poole, plead guilty to the same charge on Oct. 1.

The penalty for felony breach of trust is up to 10 years in prison and up a $10,000 fine.

Well finally! Now lets hope all 3 get the maximum time because $10,000 each in fines is just a fraction of what they stole. Donnie Myers needs to answer a lot of questions about the way all of this was handled and a lot of Gaston people need to apologize for a lot of nasty name calling and lies spewed in blind defense of a bunch of crooks.
