I hope the Cherryville starts to clean up quickly. What we have downtown now is a dirty eyesore that needs both a good cleaning and some major upkeep. This could be a good start, but they need to get it done without using committees that will waste all the money and get little done.

Question: how many people will go to jail for stealing this money before it's over? And who will be the first one indicted?

Hey, give credit where credit is due! Maybe the man up above moving furniture around, heard our prayers. Maybe now, Cherryville will be put back on the map! Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. Let's all pull together and work on cleaning up our little town. We can do it! United we stand, divided we fall!

With all the sticky fingers over in city hall, it's no wonder the whole town's falling in. It looks like they've been stealing everything that isn't nailed down.

Quite a lot of funds have been taken from our town, but look at the bright side; whatever someone does that is no good, there is always good that comes out of it. I am sure Cherryville will recover. These people just made some very dumb choices and we all make dumb ones, in one way or another, every now-and-then. I feel for the children that suffer because of parents making dumb choices, and that is what is so heart breaking. Not only for the children, but also for their families. We only have to pray that everything will work out, that Cherryville will be paid back all monies from whoever (borrowed, used it), and we all can and will live and put everything behind us as so many have done in the past. These individuals aren't the first one's to do this in a town and they won't be the last.

It looks like the who bunch in city is/was stealing money. They should go to jail. Also I keep hearing about funny business at the police department from different people. Is there any truth to any of it?

Yes, maybe the "who" bunch should go to jail and I am sure you are not the first person that is agreeing to this. I don't disagree or agree, because the money is gone and the District Attorney wants the money reimbursed. How would anyone do that in jail?

These people are thieves and thieves need to go to jail. They will never pay back the thousands of dollars that was stolen and only jail time will keep others from doing the same.

After reading the papers, it looks like the only business activity left in town comes from the city workers coming up with creative ways to steal the taxpayers money. I hope the folks putting up the money for all this have a darn good accountant or they will find all the money gone and there will be nothing to show for it. It's always worked like that in Cherryville.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Sagittarius

You're wearing rose-tinted glasses today, especially when you look at some of the special people in your life. Right now you only want to see their good points and you'll deliberately turn a blind eye to any faults that might be on show. If you can escape from the real world for a day with you-know-who you'll have a marvelously romantic and emotional time together. But do your best to come back to earth tomorrow.
