<quoted text>When I first met you, you had an interesting pic and we discussed a book that I thought you may find interesting. Finally, after many moons, the title of this paperback book is All That Remains...A West Virginia Archaeologist's Discoveries by Robert L. Pyle. I have the 2nd Edition and enjoyed every page's detailed photos and investigation of discoveries in WV.
Yep, it was a trilobite fossil i found in Greenbrier county. I changed to this quantum physics pic a few weeks ago, then found out somebody is already using it. So I guess I should go to another one.

My dog is just a mutt, but i love him.

Mutts are the greatest and so many in our neck of the woods need good homes. I really want this puppy to be trained for a service dog to go to the hospitals where patients are taking chemo or to nursing homes. The training of the service dogs to get certification prices caught me off guard. It is around 5 K. What's your dog's name? I liked your trilobite. The book that I was talking about have many pictures of arrowheads found in WV plus many other interesting photos. Do you have any suggestions for the name of my puppy?

My dogs name is Newton (Sir Isaac)...lol. Training service dogs is expensive. I saw where police dogs cost more than policemen to train.

I have several arrowheads and other Indian artifacts I have found trout fishing.

Dog names are tough, wait till you get used to his personality then pick something that fits. No hurry. You can google "dog names" and get one heck of a list.

Excellent name. Would you believe that I am still hitting the "go to last page button?" Decided to read some more threads. I'll check back later.

<quoted text>My family that lives in TN have the same weather opinion as you do...hot and humid. Have a new found appreciation for our ancestors that didn't have power and now have an urgency every time there's a storm warning to make sure that every battery operated thing is charged and I also have emergency kits for my dogs and us prepared. Dericho wasn't whistling a love song when it passed by in our neck of the woods. I am happy for you that you are having a good summer. I was trying to cross of things on my bucket list and got more unavoidable things to cross out. Just hanging in there is a phrase that I have been using for a reply when how are you comes into a conversation. It's so great to hear from you.
I am going back to TN/KY around October, to continue the trip I originally planned, cut it short because it was uncomfortable and most people seemed to stay indoors.

That two week period was the warmest, after that it has been about normal, right now we are awaiting heavy rain that is expected to come, over at KY/VA line heading towards us is very deep red and green on the radar.

Lack of rain and then flash floods are examples of the weather extremes in my area. Your trip continuation sounds fun and hopefully the weather will be favorable for your plans. I have been over on Offbeat playing some word games. Going back in. I hope you have a good night, Weepy.

<quoted text>Hello Pagan. Watched a movie, The Big Year, and the content in the plot reminded me of you and how you take care and have a love for birds. How are you? Do you have any new videos that I might be able to view? I have 2 new additions to my family. Got a phone call from the place that I got my Akita and they needed a home for a Akita Mommy and her male puppy. It has been interesting blending them in with my other 2 dogs. At first, I put the mommy and her puppy next to my Akita male dog and I thought to myself, "Hold my breath and hope this works." My dog took the puppy and put it in his dog house and nudged the mom into his dog house and just stretched out in front of the door of his dog house. My other dog sniffed around and Ben moved for her and after they passed the sniff test, my hunter just looked at me with the expression, "What have you done?" I have made a declaration that I will not accept anymore, but I can't stand to see animals that already have a bad rep being put to sleep because owners were not responsible enough to get spayed or neutered. I'm sorry. I will get off my soap box now. I named the mom, Katniss, from the Hunger Games and I haven't coined a name for the puppy. It's personality keeps changing daily. Oh shucks...minute by minute. Any name for suggestions for a male, Akita Puppy?
I will have to watch that movie,it sounds interesting.

I have a lot of new videos,I will IM them to you.

That is sweet of you to take in the Akita mom and puppy. Sounds like you have it all under control with your canine family.
I completely agree with you about spaying and neutering. It should be mandatory with exception of high quality show breeders. All of these backyard breeders and puppy mills are the reason that thousands of animals are killed in shelters everyday.

I have no idea what to name an Akita. Aren't they a Japanese breed? Maybe something Japanese? What about,Sushi?

I don't drink Coke, hon. Gave it up years ago.

My summer is going great. How have you been.

My understanding is that out of the US they still use sugar cane and not corn syrup as a sweetener.

No Coke, Yikes! I am addicted. I decided to make my life unrecognizable with success. Got this bright idea to do some of my bucket lists things because my age is going up not down. Whoosh, I need a new list to recover from all that I can't do. So with my left brain, I decided if I can't do everything on my bucket list then I need to get organized. Joy Mangano from HSN is having a good year. New problem now exist. I need to organize the UPS boxes.

Never try new drugs is my new motto because they will put you in ICU and SOS alerts ring throughout the hospital. I put out an APB, but no one can understand you with a tube down your throat. Been out reading some threads and such and found some new word games on Offbeat. Have you ever posted on Offbeat? I will tell you one thing that things move quickly. They must have fast DSL or wi fi service. I am so slow that by the time my brain decides to give me an answer that I am so far behind. Actually, I think they use stop clocks to time us to see who can respond the quickest. It's probably Topix's Mind Olympics. I know one thing I need more training and Cokes to drink for speed and a good typist to boot might get me in 3rd or 4th place in replying to comments. I hope you have a fun day!

Thanks for your reply. I have some friends that have traveled outside the US and we are getting ready to venture out and each one of them have told me the way I enjoy drinking Cokes that I need to pack a suitcase full of them because the Cokes they have drank outside the US are so much sweeter and I wouldn't like them. I didn't know if they were joking around me because to get a prank on someone with this group becomes a job for a few make that each one of them.
