It was a rhetororical question/statement. Kind of like like stating the fed needs called in to investigate the single mom with 3 kids working at Ryan's. She doesn't turn in all her tips on her wages at the end of the year. The elderly couple next door that live together not married so they can still claim they have 2 seperate households in order to keep drawing social security and food stamps for each of them. As ridiculous as it may sound, these situations happen every single day, but this is still defrauding the government. Human compassion keeps us from doing anything about it and I for one wouldn't "rat" these people out. Now, my question is, why is it considered ratting them out when a lot on here are talking about how wrong the coal operators have done? If they have stolen from citizens, have these people that have benefited from the government illegally not stolen also? Is it ok for the poor to steal, but not ok for the rich? The reverse Robin Hood effect? Sounds to me like there quite a few that need to sit back and do a little bit of soul searching and see just how much they've also contributed to defrauding the government before they judge someone else.

Sounds to me like you need a job selling sand in the dessert That's the biggest bunch of bull shit I think I've ever read on Topix. The people got caught in their dirty under handed dealing. Now deal with it.

Then you need to reread the post and try to comprehend what it says. If its wrong for one group of people to defraud the government, what makes it right for another?

That's what I figured, so it's ok as long as they don't get caught. Thats a typical uneducated answer.. I would say I'm not going to be getting the salesman job either, I'm pretty sure you're the foreman.

You must really have a lot to lose, defending these "Saints" the way that you are. I don't care how much they helped some of the community, they did wrong and finally got caught. I wonder how much they put away that the Government didn't find out about. Quit upholding them. They did the crime & hopefully will have to do the time. I'm sure they didn't defraud the Government just to give it all to the community. Look at all of the Toys that they bought for their Girlfriends, Children, Step-Children and let's not forget what all they have bought for their selves. Don't act like these "Saints" just ripped the Government out of Millions just to give it all away. They saw a way to make some easy money and took it. I'm sure anyone would thinking their not going to get caught. God doesn't like ugly and this was ugly in his eyes. You are beating a dead horse by continuing these arguments. They need to admit they were wrong and take their punishment like the men/women they profess to be. Mr A blames everyone else but hisself. No one twisted his arm and made him do the things he did. If he didn't do anything then how did they bring charges against him. I am sure he was not framed like his supports are saying he was.

For one, I'm not speaking of just one of these men just the situation in general. I'm not concerned with what toys they have bought for anyone, just as I'm not concerned with anything you've purchased for anyone. I'm sure all involved still draw a paycheck just like anyone else that works,so what business is it of mine what they buy? I however have about as much to lose in this as you do. Are you the only one entitled to an opinion? Or am I involved because I don't share yours? It's not so much I'm upholding them, just stating the obvious. It's going on around you everyday, just in a different form. As far as God not liking ugly, you're exactly right about that. He probably also doesn't like you casting judgement, gossiping, and talking about other people.

I'd like to say its nothing to me who gets caught. But it cost money to house all convicts these included. And no it's not ok if some don't get caught. Don't be guilty and u won't get caught. These did got caught. Deal with it

Common sense, it's a Federal case. The papers aren't reporting for a reason. It's called a gag order. So wrap your mind around that Topix probably isn't the best source for reliable info.

On the next post, try to make sense. What are you, 13? I don't see what gaging has to do with anything, they aren't measuring anything. But hey, great comeback ....lol. "Gagging" on paying fines and restitution? I hope you didn't spend much time thinking of that one...lolololol

I think you have missed the point. I have known most of these guys most of my life and yes they are good guys. They have gave a lot to the community, schools and to individuals. The fact of the matter is they commited a crime and got caught. They benefited from their crime now it is time to be a man and accept their punishment. I hate it for them and their families and never thought them capable of doing such a thing.
Now, I agree that there are a lot of people defrauding the government by working and drawing a check or lying to the welfare. That is another matter that needs to be addressed as well.
