As long as lack of education keeps rising, I don't have faith in the electorate of this state to make right decisions, Earl is one of the smarter ones that voted Romney and that says nothing at all.
I think it's an indoctrination thing. Remember, these are the same people who think that tax breaks for the rich create jobs.

LMAO. That may go down as one of the greatest hoaxes in the history of this country.

And even the "smart ones" like Earl fall for that crap.

You know how a Republican makes a coherent statement? By cut and paste.

The GOP just obstructs and take up space and the few busiest ones just makes up budgets that cannot pass as it will make the US in a police state. The Democrats are the ones doing the work andf the gop plays pocket pool and say it is expensive or whatever their scriptwriter at the Heritage Foundation tells them to say.

WV needs to take a good hard look at themselves and someone there needs to consider what it would take to diversify and bring in some other industries. It doesn't happen over night, but unless someone starts the ball rolling, it will never happen.
Coal is getting it from multiple directions. First, it's not a renewable resource. It's going to run out eventually. Secondly, it is dirty and like it or not, polluting the air and water is becoming a bigger issue by the minute. Third, tearing the tops off mountains is just dumb. Period. Lastly, China has more coal and cheaper labor. People might as well face up to that now. Coal is not the future of the state of WV and anyone saying it is, is just wrong.
It will not be supported as long as idiots in this state listens to AM radio which owners has an agenda and fox news who rarely researches anything that does not come from the RNC. Too stupid to understand WV mined coal does not stay in WV, it is shipped overseas or to a Koch run plant in another state, that has always been the case.

And the overwhelming amount of profits the coal companies make does not go to WV it goers to the states where the company is located and stuff them in offshore accounts and they will continue to lie to their stupid sheep and they will believe it, it is kinda like these boneheads were born in 2009.

AM radio and the internet are the worst two things that ever happened to people. I don't listen to AM radio, but I do cruise around the internet. I am shocked at the crap that gets passed off as truth on some of these sites. Anyone who lacks the mental ability to see through the bullshit (Obama's a Muslim for example), shouldn't even be allowed within 100 feet of a voting booth.

Yep, all that big money from back in the 50's and 60's went to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. Very little of it got invested into the state. If it had, there'd be roads galore in McDowell county.

Although it might have lined the pockets of a lot of politicians back then too.

That describes everyone that voted Romney, anyone with a brain could tell Mittens is unfit for office (mental capacity lacking for that job, money does not automatically makes him president and is a hateful man)and no one voting for him has any credibility with me, Bush sorta did a halfway decent job of convincing people despite never winning a debate but the second time she should have never been reelected, tells me funny business is played. Bigotry plays a factor.

If the GOP is mistrusted why are so many of them being elected tying up the nation until we can get rid of them.

I said it once before and I will say it again, education has to be as priority or we will never progress and the GOP will stay around, their imbecilic budget (that can only be passed by retards) calls for education to be cut, thus sending the country backwards.

And the dumb ones will vote GOP like they did this cycle and 2010, surprised thewy haven't introduce the replacement for teabagging which will include the same inane shit any American should be ashamed of.

Republicans do not understand complex issues like the ones voting Democrat, anything complicated coming from them is parroted or cut and paste. I really could care less about them it will still be the same retarded drivel, labeling others without looking in the mirror at themselves and made up shit like "war on coal". The EPA was a GOP creation but tards do not research, they also do not know a conservative tilted SCOTUS ruled abortion illegal, out of the two that dissented, one was a Democrat.

Pains me to say but Christie will be reelected because he actually pissed off the GOP and the toothless bots that he has a conscience which may make him a liability to that party as they accept no rich guy with a conscience. They will be primaried by a twit that will embarass the party like that moron in IN and the baggers in DE had a guaranteed GOP seat in the Senate until Mike Castle told his constituents the truth that Obama is an American then put a braindead candidate that was DOA by election day, a lot of similar idiots actually got elected like Rand Paul.

I give up on the opinion by the majority voters of this state because they are wrong.

And if someone comer back with "well the Obama Pelosi Reid plan" is obviously automated response. They would attack those two if their chambers had only 10 democrats and the rest GOP.

I've said it all along that if the republicans want to get back in office, they need to pick a candidate who has mass appeal. They keep picking these far right wing nuts who are basically insane. Mitt was a perfect example of an insane man running for office.

And what's even more insane is that some folks voted for him. It's not even a case of "anything would be better than what we got" because in the case of Mitt, it would have been a disaster in every way possible.

The coal companies succeeded in brainwashing the population but they have not gotten yet what they want, the statehouse to be republican led that has not happened since the Great Depression.

Even that lunkhead Blankenship has not awaken the dangers of voting GOP making 29 miners die in vain. Republican led deregulations in the energy sector headed by Dick Cheney led to that disaster and getting a spanking on the hand instead of being imprisoned. This may have to wait until the principals die before the truth is ever known.

Blankenship had the state's ear for over a decade hiding behind weasel words like "freedom liberty etc and the freedom and liberty of his miners were violated by him.

Time to start calling a spade a spade.

The GOP still has failed to prevent job losses from this administration despite their masking this as a "failure", if Romney was in there there it would plunge because he would not know what to do and would have had incompetent people like Bush did.
I actually meant prevent job gains which is what the GOP really want to cheer for. My bad.

Those who voted Obama don't want jobs. Why should they work when they can make more on welfare? He was elected by the welfare receipiants and blacks.

John L. Lewis is the one who started screwing the coal miners. Look what shape he left Wva in. No contracts for the people of Wva. The coal companies came in raped and left Wva. poor. The Unions helped to put Wva and its people in that situation. How many times did you elect Arch Moore???? Wva brought this unemployment on itself thru electing the people they did and still haven't learned.

That's funny coming from you considering you've spent your whole life on welfare ya friggin' mooch.

Remember, O was elected by the liberal northerners. You know, those rich states up north. They didn't get rich from welfare, dummy.

But don't let facts stand in the way of you perpetuating a good lie.

Of the top 10 welfare states, only one of them went for Obama in 2012.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_reckoning/2012...

So, it looks like welfare states voted against Obama and people that work for a living voted for him.

Figures that the world's biggest welfare bitch (Earl) wouldn't know that.

You are only partially right, 2 congressional districts are in the GOP.

The rest is just comedy material, I was only a kid when Arch helped damage the state and put Rocky IV in a bind. Dunno who told you that crap.

His daddy probably told him that. Earl's politics are straight out of the 40's.
