I notice nobody in Tenaha or Shelby county has Internet Service because they are no comments. Of course the DA is involved in the scheme of shaking down minorities. The DA is the highest legal authority in the county, and if the people running the racket weren't told they would never be prosecuted, then of course they would track down black people for property seizure.

Hello. I'm currently a student at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. In October of 2007 my Psychology Club took a trip to Houston. I was in a convoy of five cars with my car being the fourth. Two police officers made their way around the car following me and pulled right next to me. After looking in my car for quite some time, they cut off the that was behing me and pulled me over. The officer came to the passenger side of my car, asked for my drivers license, asked me where I was from, where i was going, why I was going there, asked me about my grades, and if i was an athlete. He then told me that he smelled smoke, which was cigarette smoke. I asked him why he stopped me, he said that I was following the car too close. He then asked how many of us were traveling together. I told him how many of the cars were in our convoy. I assume that he forgot what he previously told me because before he gave me back my drivers license, he told me he looked in my car and couldn't see my seatbelt. This whole situation had me baffled because he could have chose any of the other vehicles to stop and tell that we "following to close," but because he saw that I was african-american, I was targeted. Please keep me posted on this situation please. You can email me at mr_keener5@yahoo.com

Please folks stay away from North Easy Texas, this is nothing new to local Texans. North East Texas is not a place to be driving through at night if you are of another color than white, have no tatooes, or long hair. There are quite a few of these small towns with these type of enforcement agencies around. The local city government are just as closed minded and I strongly suspect are just as dirty. I find it difficult to believe an 80 yr old mayor form East Texas, that has been the mayor for 54 years is open minded with the latest changes in the past 40 years. Any attorneys that want to make a name for themeselves would have a field day if they dig deep enough to uncover all the dirt that lies there. Sounds rip for a made for TV movie deal

As someone living in an adjacent county I can assure you that there are many people with internet access. They probably do not have to the time to respond to assinine comments like yours. The only reason I take the time now is to correct your post. I think you wanted it to read I notice nobody in Tenana or Shelby County has internet service because THERE are no comments. Sure, Rhonda Number 2. And that Little Rock IP isn't really over in the adjacent county of what??? Couldn't bring yourself to read the other well-articulated comments about the same thing you're frantically finding on the Internet? The corruption is being exposed and commented on.

Well, sounds like they do not have internet service, since they have not got on line and condemed their policemen for stealing from minorities. Any policeman that steals from someone they pull over is nothing but common crooks themselves. I hope they get what should be coming to them. That is about as low as a person can get, begin an officer and stealing from motorist he is suppose to help. And the Mayor is not any better. Sounds like to me it's a town of crooks. I hope it cost the city so much, it fails to exist.

smith1 <quoted text> other color beside white. Two black elected officers were doing the stopping. It dose not matter what color he is, if he is an officer and stealing from motorist he is still a crook. Some officers just don't have any pride in themselves, nor self respect.
