Let's see the rest of the client list.

They ALL broke the law. They ALL should pay equally. Who were the other clients?

Is there a reason we haven't seen the rest of the client list yet? Other than the obvious one - that this was a smear job aimed at Spitzer from the very beginning?

I have heard many defendants apologize for their transgressions. Yet the People of the State of NY demanded their incarceration. The Hon. Eliot Spitzer is entitled to no less.

It sure sounds like a crooked deal was cut. I hope the "terms" of this deal becomes public. Just think if all you had to do was resign from your job to escape criminal prosecution. How convenient.

Bingo! You left out the fact that he (as Attorney General) prosecuted and incarcerated others in just the same position. Or maybe we need to go after the current AG for giving favor to good old boy Eliot.

the fact that the is the Gov'ner, should have no bearing on his plea bargain.

He is now out of a job (which is fair)- now he should TRY and negotiate a deal.

Don't forget that other piece of crap, Sheldon Silver. Remember he killed the West Side development deal because he was afraid it'll take dollars away from his lower east side fifedom.

Man, I wish I could have a job whereby, if I am caught committing illegality, all I have to do is resign and poof, bye bye threat of jail.

No plea deal, do the time like anyone else, no exception because of wealth and influence. The law is the law.

I think the taxpayer of ny should have more of a say in any legal action... If we let the system go unchecked as they decide what happens to him... They will let him slide? If i did what he did i would be looking at jail time what makes him above the system... Hes in the system he should have known better he rolled the dice and lost lets see if he pays for his actions...And remember this is a criminal case!

Why would NYState citizens PUNISH SEX but NOT CORRUPTION? CORRUPT power-guys "on-the-take" for decades, like Joe Bruno who has siphoned out our tax money--WHY is he still boss in ALBANY NY?
How stupid are we?
The CORRUPT JOE BRUNO shoud go next.
Enough of Bruno's manipulations, posing as the FAKE "innocent farm boy" and his lies and corruption. Bruno has been at his nasty game long enough. He has paralyzed the NYState Legislature for many years.
It's time for Bruno to go. The FBI should INVESTIGATE Bruno's corrupt practices. Or are Republicans EXEMPT FROM INVESTIGATION? What's all the WIRETAPPING all about?
Getting DIRT on everybody else?
The spotlight has been focused on Spitzer, but now it's time to
refocus on JOE BRUNO whose time is way past "over" in the NYS Legislature. The Spitzer debacle should NOT DISTRACT us from the corruption we need to oust in Albany NY LEGISLATURE.
Have a brain you moron! Get ALL(must be all)of George w spitzer, slick willey spitzer's appointed personel from blue collor janitors and secrataries to managers, supervisors, departmen t heads, and commissioners!!!!Then appoligize for the slander of bruno and beg, grovel and pray that bruno does not sue for slander!!!

Bruno is as much of a d-bag as Spritzer....and even more than Silver. We need to modify an old adage: politicians, banish or hang them.

I wonder what the plea deal will be like. Will Governor Spitzer's punishment for his crimes consist of a good spanking by his call-girl playmate Kristen? Maybe she can tie him up and then tickle him with a feather duster. Another good punishment for him would be for her to make him get down on all fours and then she can ride him, like a pony.
