The woman that witnessed the police assaulting the homeless man at the bus stop was the director of our sunday school program and a former volunteer fire-fighter so it makes total sense that she would run over to help someone. She actually supports the police and the legal justice system and was only trying to be a witness for the man who was beaten up.

She wasn't chaged until after she called the office of internal affairs and if you look at the incident with the young woman who was hit by Abreu you will see that they never would have talked to her if she was a suspect. The guy in internal affairs Mathias used to work in the Metro unit and he called the head of the Metro unit up to alert them.

It was only after she had reported the incident and spoke to the head of the unit that they created a second incident report (3 days later) and didn't notify her she had been charged until June (almost 4 months later).

If this can happen to a sweet Mormon woman then none of us are safe from out of control sheriff's officers.
