It would be great to see all five of them make it in. It will take some work on the part of Purdue & ISU, but would be good for the state as a whole if they can all make it.

There has got to be two teams out there better than Purdue. They havent won a road game in nearly three years!!!!! That is unbelievable to me. Every game in NCAAs is a road game. That is the mentallity it takes to win those games. I can't see more than three teams getting in unless Purdue happens to win 20 games and wins a couple in the tournament. Not sure about ISU, but they will be a 14 seed going against a Kansas or OSU even if they do get in.

Actually every game in the NCAA is considered neutral court. Although there will be a fan section against you, it won't be thousands of people packing into a crumbling building that has obviously seen better days.

All the great players should go to Indiana University so the state will have a team in the final four every year, spreading the talent across the state only dims the image of the great basketball State of Indiana.

Just try telling that to the powers-that-be at Notre Dame. I'm also sure that John Purdue and the Ball Brothers just fell out of their graves.

I think all the great players should go to BUtler. It is in the capitol city. Then everyone in indiana should be required to cheer for butler, or pay an additional tax to cheer for another team. With everyone in INdiana supporting BUtler, they could have huge crowds, which they deserve this year! They could play home games at the new Stadium!

I believe that Purdue will make it. Versyp has done a pretty good job. As far as the girls team, Painter needs to quit crying and start coaching.

Purdue has won games away from home this year in the Maui Classic in Hawaii beatting both Oklahoma & DePaul. As for Road Games your right but the NCAA is not considered a Road game but a Neutral Court Game.

The Media and some fans do consider Road Games and Neutral Court Games to be seperate. As for only like a team because thier winning, I follow the Big Ten, IU and Prudue if thier winning or not.

Its good to see somewhat of a renaissance among the Indiana college basketball programs. Even Purdue although I am a proud IU alumnus.

At the high school level however I can see a dimming of the luster of what made this a basketball state. I personally blame class sports but hey, no turning it back now. Its sad to go to my old high school to watch a basketball game and see maybe 50% fewer students there cheering on their team. And even fewer visiting students cheering on their team.

There are just too many distractions or other interests now that take our kids away from basketball. Other forms of entertainment are just so easily accessible.

Maybe hiring an IU Coach with ties to the University would help in your recruiting. Good luck with your current coach......
