I dont think he should get death row because there was another guy with him and that guy is not getting death row and that is not fair.

The application of capital punishment has been shown to be unfair in many respects.

In many instances, it's clear that if you're poor, black, and killed a white person, you're much more likely to get a death sentence than if you're rich, white, or killed a black person.

In other instances, it's almost like a lottery in terms of which deserving murderers get it and which ones don't.

Plea bargins often result in the most heinous of heinous murderers, including serial killers, getting life sentences. In a recent case in Texas, two people were put to death for murdering one person, and it wasn't clear which one fired the fatal shot.

It is my understanding that David was high and doesn't even remeber if he did it but his friends testifed he did. It would be terrible to live with not knowing whether you did or not. I believe David does have mild retardation and tha should be considered. In addition, it costs more money to execute someone than to keep them in prison. Lastly, An eye for an eye was changed with the coming of Christ. Christ said instead, "Love your enemies". Caesar washed his hands of the death of Christ but this didn't make him guiltless. By allowing the death penalty aren't we just as guilty of murder?
