What a heartless ruling ! This poor inmate-citizen now faces a terrible end due a mean spirited Federal judge probably appointed by George W. Bush or his dad, for heavens sake.

I don't think that it should matter if he feels any pain at all. I am sure that the woman that he murdered felt more pain and saw more horror than this fool could ever possibly percieve. If I could have it my way he would be cut a thousand times with a razor blade then have salt thrown on him. Then a good old fashioned hanging.

technically he shouldn't be executed because he has a personality disorder and I believe that makes him mentally ill, which is unconstitutional the way I understand it.

Death is a favor to this scum. He should embrace it.

What is "heartless" is the way he murdered his victim! Stabbing a 77 year-old man 21 times. That IS heartless. I applaud the court system for not standing in the path of justice!!!

When terminally ill cancer patients beg their physicians for these kinds of drugs, it's called "dying with dignity."

When convicted murderers face these kinds of drugs, it's called "cruel and unusual punishment."

What was wrong with the guillotine? Fast and painless. A little messy, perhaps, but a good hosing-off and it was ready to go again.

I didn't read anywhere in the arguments or the ruling where the lawyers were arguing his mental state. According to most Dr's the majority of the population has some sort of mental illness ( I think there crazy).

This guy deserves to die a slow and agonizing death just like his victim!!!!!

that is unheard of how could this man talk about his pain when he didn' give a sh*t about the man he stabbed 21 times. i think he should be stabbed 21 times and see how much pain that is. maybe then he would appriciate the lethal injection

Poor baby. All he did was stab his neighbor to death. where was his concern for pain and suffering then?
the victim got stabbed, the killer should get the same, only slower.

He is just trying to buy time. Now he can't. This Friday will be the end for him. I'm sure it will hurt a little. We can't help that. It is part of the price he will pay for his actions so long ago. He got to live off us tax payers for years. Now it is time for him to take his medicine and drift off to sleep forever.

21 times stabbing a victim. How about sticking him with the needle 21 times and adding a little injection at a time with each poke. Talk about heartless - hugh. Let the family members do the injection for a grand finale
