I took my car to them because the service engine light kept coming on. They didn't charge me anything to run their diagnostics machine on it but when I returned to have the problems fixed that were indicated by the various codes, they ended up getting into me for close to $1000 after multiple visits, all of which resulted in my engine light coming back on after a few weeks. Fast forward to a few months later when I took my car in for an oil change at one of those fast lube places and they said they turned off the oxygen sensor when servicing my car, which in turned caused the engine light to go off. It's stayed off ever since. So, was Tao Auto taking me for a ride or were they simply overlooking something as obvious as the oxygen sensor that was corrected in less than 5 minutes by a 20 year old kid at a local quick lube place? I'm going with the former and therefore will NEVER return to Tao Auto. Nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

Methinks somebody has an ax to grind with Tao Auto. There have been 0 complaints filed against Tao Auto to the Raleigh BBB. Tao is not accredited by the BBB because it has not requested such. They are the only place in this area that I will let service my Lexus. Certainly not Johnson Lexus.
