Rather ironic and hypocritical that you fight for these Alabama worker to work in the state of New Jersey when you give them no rights of security of their jobs in their own state where they could be fired anytime. The union does give this security. The typical Republican double standard.
Then it should've been up to the state of NJ to determine whether or not they met the proper criteria/qualifications, NOT the unions. Bottom line is that the union thugs wanted to get paid, they didn't give a damn about safety.
I was supporting the AL workers only because of a disaster that occurred and their willingness to volunteer to help. I find it ironic and hypocritical that you preach how we should love, support, and help thy neighbors.....but only if they agree to your union demands.
Therein lies the problem with your unions, they allow those who perform well below the job standards to keep their employment.....as long as they continue to pay their union dues,(and I know you have some fellow co-workers who should've retired years ago to make way for younger, smarter, brighter teachers).
BTW, AL is a right to work state. That means ANY employee is allowed to join a union if they choose, they just can't be FORCED to join a union regardless of their wishes.
Concerning someone being fired, I always told my employees that I had never fired anyone...people fire themselves!

Silver says that he agrees with some of Hitlers points. I see it is not any of his points on socialism, and I can see he agrees on his points on racism.
I never claimed racism was a good thing......straw man.

So when the free market fails the people, they turn to the government for help.
Now we can see the conservatives are against helping the citizens in need as usual.
Is it just greed, or a general lack of empathy?
Insurance covers what you pay for, maybe people should read the fine print and quit blaming everyone else for their problems. It's hard to have empathy for someone elses stupidity. It's called self-responsibility.

<quoted text>Obama's record on gun control does not show him being strict at all on the issue, so stop with the lies.
Now on to the other issues. Yes, Hitler was for helping the people. That is how he got power. Unfortunately he had some other ideas on race that lead to horrible attrocities.
Now I doubt Obama has some secret agenda on a holocaust.
Banning any firearm is being strict on the issue. The second amendment is open ended, it doesn't say the govt has the right to ban any firearm, only that we have a right to bear them. Why? So the citizens can protect against the very govt that is trying to ban them.
How ironic, Obama campaigned on helping the people which it's how he obtained power. Unfortunately, he has other ideas on how to destroy our economy.....for another holocaust, no, just a govt takeover.....and it's no secret for those who listen to what he says while watching his actions. You've just been indoctrinated and are either blind to what's going on or you agree with govt controling the people instead of people controlling the govt.....which is what our forefathers intended!

There's your problem, our forefathers founded a Republic, not a democracy. Our founding fathers, under Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution, "guarantees to every state in this union a Republican form of government".... Conversely, the word Democracy is not mentioned even once in the Constitution. Just after the completion and signing of the Constitution, in reply to a woman's inquiry as to the type of government the Founders had created, Benjamin Franklin said, "A Republic, if you can keep it." It's fairly obvious we haven't.

Passage of the 14th, 15th and 19th ammendments turned us into a democratic republic by allowing blacks and women to vote.

Being unionized has absolutely nothing to do with training standards.

Unions often standardize and enforce training requirements agreed upon in contract negotiations between their company and the union . This protects workers in high risk situations (like working on hot electrical lines, etc) as well as protecting the company by reducing accident rates and damaged equipment caused by unqualified personnel. Many years ago the electrical union steward even took care of disclipinary actions against union members who the company claimed had screwed up. This system worked well for the company, workers and the union. Repetitions of screw ups were very rare.

I doubt you will be able to accept the challenge.
Conservatives think Obama condemns capitalism, but he does not. It is a lie the right wing propagandists have propogated. You are just so guillible, you believe it with blind faith.
I claimed his views/ideology, not quotes. One example from Obama/Liberals......Obamacare.

Provide us all a copy of binding arbitration or collective bargaining where all you alledged is in the contract. Till then, being a unionized workforce has zero to do with training requirements for a job.

being unionized has everything to do.with safe working conditions and fair pay, as the robber barons who owned the sweatshops were not noted for their humanity.

You are just brainwashed against worker unions by the likes of Braweeehill and the furniture manufacturer's union (association). You have not a clue about how unions really operate and the services they provide to workers and their employers. You probably now believe that Mormon is not a cult just because Twitt opposed raising capital gains taxes. You believe everything the republikan talking heads like Rush Oxycodone Limbaugh tells you.
Remember old Rush railing against drugs and druggies and then he gets busted for drugs?
