On November 9, 2009 Plano, Texas will be the crucial point for the top six [6] Women’s Soccer teams from across the Nation as they compete in the NAIA Unaffiliated Grouping Championship. FREE TO PUBLIC!
This is the opportunity for these teams to earn a National Championship spot and make their mark in the 26th Annual NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship finals held in Decatur, AL on November 30 – December 5. “The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference is pleased to partner with The Sport Source® and Andromeda Soccer Club to provide this opportunity for our conference teams. The Dallas Metro-Plex is such a great location for all the teams participating. With the help and support of the partner host organizations and that of the Plano Convention Visitors Bureau, Marriott Hotels, and Sunny Delight we are able to make this possible. The teams are excited to bring the Unaffiliated Grouping Championship to Plano, TX and hope families in the community will come watch and cheer the teams on and have some fun,” said Danny Owens, Women’s Head Coach of William Carey University. All games will be played at the Andromeda Soccer Complex Located at: 4401 14th Street – Plano, TX Game times: 11:00am and 3:00pm each day The games are single elimination Finals played on Friday – November 13, 2009 Free to the public “We hope everyone will come watch the games, tour the complex and support these teams. They have worked hard to reach this point and it should prove to be a very exciting event. This is also a great opportunity for players in the Dallas Metro-Plex to get an inside look at some of the nations top teams competing for a position in the NAIA finals held in Decatur, AL,” said Mike Powers, DOC of Andromeda, SC “The Dallas Metro-Plex has been the proving ground for many aspiring college bound athletes. We are pleased to help make this event possible and we hope local soccer teams and players will come out and watch and get a feel for what it takes to play at the collegiate level.
