It's obvious that mommy dearest is the criminal mind in this. She should be given the waterboard treatment, then forced to serve our country while wearing curlers and robe. Sgt. Daddy should be brought home to a hero's welcome and a plate of beans. He should also be given front-row tickets to a wrestling match. Little girl just needs her fanny spanked, then sent to her room without supper -- AND NO TV. The snotty little brat probably can't even color within the lines anyway, not to mention write a frickn' essay. Hannah Montana probably can't read, either, and even if she could, she'd just wipe her nose with it.

It worked

Club Libby Lu still plans to give the prize to the girl.

I gotta try something like this.

Perhaps mommy tells her daughter that her that 'uncle daddy' died in (fill in the blank) whenever she breaks up with them.

I predict the tickets end up on ebay, seeking a buyer willing to pay mommy $6,000 for them.

This girls mother is a lying bitch and to have her daughter repeat the lie is unforgivable.

There are Stolen Valor Act against this. I hope some federal prosecutor goes after the mother and she receives a fine, maybe she'll think twice next time.

Yes, I'm bitter, I lost two family members during wartime and I also served three tours in Vietnam and almost 50% of the so-called Vietnam Veterans I have run across have never been with-in 3,000 miles of Vietnam but they tell the biggest BS stories that insult the real veterans. The VA did an investigation and their numbers are much higher...

If they give the girl the tickets I will have the Disney Channel removed from my cable service.

I'll bet Mom is a good liar too. Just think of all the other applications and forms she could lie on, and benefit from.

you have a point...
but still,
it was her DAD
maybe if it was someone like
someone she heard on tv
then that would be good
but her own family member?

I think you're right. she's certainly got potential.

Lying, making a mockery of enlisted service, and not only avoiding consequences, but being rewarded for bad behavior and poor judgment seems to be a great regimen for presidential preparedness lately.

Shame on that mother, teaching her kid that it is OK to lie to get what you want. As if lying wasn't bad enough, using smething as controversial as the Iraq War just to get tickets to a fake singer's concert!
I feel sorry for that girl--she is the real victim here. She just did what her Mom told her to do, and she probably has no idea why she was given all this and it was now taken away from her.
