Maybe it's better to get sick and die of chromium poisoning and become a prisoner of your home that is now worthless in a market already in deep trouble.
It's only been 28 years since this happened.
The city and state dragged their feet and now all of a sudden we have a problem?

Neither did the mayor & council. Lets us not forget to include the useless senators and elected freeloaders.
Someone needs to be held accountable and these homes should be bought buy the state or city and condemned.

The cities job was to report it to the dep once that happens the state has the responsibility of ensuring that the THE COMPANY WHO CAUSED THE SPILL cleaned up the mess. Finally the E.P.A. IS HERE TO DO THE JOB.It took 25 years for the state to turn it over to the federal government
